Where to buy the Alliance Chieftan? Can`t find it on this site, it says over 300Ly but I don`t give a dime if I have to travel over 3.000Ly to get my greedy hands on that ship.
So anyone bought it; please tell me where.

Did you get your Chieftan? If you actually started the Horizons Beta 3.0 (you will not see it unless you're running the Horizons version) it's in the same system you spawn (Wyrr?)


I suppose that stuff is not yet available for XB1 players? As a sidenote - from what I've heard, the people who already have Horizons will get the DLC free. Is that true?

The Beta is PC only and it seems FDev have no plans to change that for future Betas. General Release is happening simultaneously across all platforms, although no date has been announced yet.

As for the Beyond series, it's free to all players, not just Horizons. Obviously things that are locked behind Horizons already will remain so (Planetary Landings, Engineers, that kinda thing) but Beyond is doing things to improve on pre-existing mechanics and gameplay.

The only thing I'm unsure on is whether or not Non-Horizons owners are getting access to the new ships? I believe they are but I could be wrong (same question regarding the Beluga).

Just to repat Luke3107 from another angle: The Chieftain is at the moment only available in Beta, which is only for PC/Mac !! However adter beta Beyond will be released for all platforms at the same time, supposedly free update....Chieftain just for Beta, folks

I just lost my ship becourse i could not dock anywere, has this happened to anyone else? I just lost over a 1mil in boiuntys 900,000 in rebuy this is bullshit

Please be specific. Did you try and land but someone was on your assigned pad and you exceeded the time limit on a pad loitering warning? Did you enter a landing bay without requesting clearance and exceeded the time limit on a trespass warning? Did you try to land with a bounty and got caught?

Were you in Beta with a large bounty on your head?

Some more details of why you could not land would be appreciated.

The contact's tab had no contact's displayed so I could not select the station to dock, I went to other station and the same thing. I was at 33% armour and had the canopy smashed but I have never had that problem before. I was in horizon not the beta

I bet your sensors were shot out at 0%. A reboot/repair from the right menu (functions tab, very bottom) will fix them.

I can 100% tell you that it was because your sensors were shot out. Phelbore has the right course of action. Go to your systems pannel, and on the far right tab at the bottom of the menu, you can hit repair and reboot which should bring your sensors back online for long enough to request docking.

Thanks CMDR's I will remember this for next time, just sucked at the time because i lost half my night over this but live and learn
