Ho Hsi was the last place I saw that kind of stuff going on in - the Empire vs Federation cap ship battles in the CZ's were pretty nice to look at. It's in Civil unrest at the moment don't know if that means there is any fighting going on. Haven't been there in a while.

I don't imagine it'd be too hard to make one. Find a small system with both fed and imp factions, work them within 5% influence of each other, wait a couple days. Why are you looking?

would anyone of you be able and willing to give a short over-/review of the Elite novels as well as a recommended order of reading?

As Matt Lehman has said, Reclamation and its sequel, Premonition are the most essential reads. They are both by Drew Wagar, who has written a lot of ingame storyline material.

I'd recommend Mostly Harmless, by Kate Russell. This is a humorous novel which managed to incorporate quite a few of the game's tropes.

Wanted, by Gavin Deas, is a good chase novel featuring two strong female characters.

Hey guy's, can someone tell me some interesting places to visit in the galaxy? I'm looking for anything, beautiful systems, oddly looking systems, profitable systems, anything, I wanted to go find the pillars of creation but sadly there not in the game

Prua Dryoae CI-Q d6-70 has 70 celestial bodies, 40 of which are landable. It's on the way to Eta Carinae which is a sight to behold.

70 freaking celestial body's!? What the hell the closes I've seen is 15 celestial bodies, were is that? I'm deep in imperial territory right now
