Scubadog 2008You know, it would be nice if you had the option to select a base as your "home" and that the controller would say "welcome home, commander" when you finish docking. It's a little thing, I know, but it would be nice.


I've noticed at my current "home base", I get a text message saying "Welcome back Commander" or something like that. The controller themselves says nothing extra that I've noticed. They MIGHT be adding on something about having a fruitful visit or looking after my every need, or something like that. Note, this is where I am at least friendly with the controlling faction.

Lol I like it.
What I meant to say was after joining a player based group, how do you play / communicate ?
I'm an ex eve online player, so used to Corp chat etc.

Most wings probably have their own Discord server or something, or they use their Wing page here.

Me too!

In-game comms here isn't as well developed as EVE, unfortunately.

You're pretty much limited to Local (everyone in your instance), Wing (wing and crew members, maximum of 4) and Direct (1-1 chat).

As Psymon's mentioned, Discord provides better live comms for text and voice, while your Wing page has its own forum boards for standing orders, posting ship builds, tactics, etc.

I do have some rather fond memories of just sitting around in Eve chatting to people on Corp chat.

But, day-amn, you can just shake my hand, no need to shake me ship to pieces and make me spill my coffee, you will still get some cargo!

Anyone ever thought, "You know, maybe Raxxla is an unmarked planet in Shinrarta Dezhra, way out further than even Hutton Orbital kind of distances, and we're gonna need to get some old school directions on how to fly there." It would be hilarious if it was hiding under peoples noses like that.

That would be great! Sadly the game mechanics behind the ADS shoot that out of the water, but still. not everything shows up on those, like megaships and certain satellites. Those things are much smaller than a planet though...

anyone have any tips on finding a home system that's all I need to send to Fdev to turn my group to a player faction. there just so many systems and player factions I don't know where to start to look for one. thanks CMDRs o7

Eds money buissnesses are plain grinding,alot of it.That said some places are better than others.Common for them all is that they all come with a degree of a "hangover",like 3 stepps,and one back,so if the grind obstacles(distance,time,npcs or mission frequency avalibility)are acceptable for your dance,i guess you found your spot.Your spot in the way of keep it too your self,bragging globaly seems too lead too Nerfing,infact its the deffenition for it it seems.Gamebuilding with a +2 playerfavor that allways have to be zeroed out or too 0,3ish.Acceptable grinds are soo obvious and spread you can see them with Raybans in space,like the scout ship run,from maia......in other words thats where ED whants your presence and attention

So loot of holdbacks,when you ask like that.  

A way is too team up on the Wing section,on this site,Great add and put you on a way of prosperous achivements,right direction and in circulation....it can..

I suggest u go specialized on what you like too doo,combat,trading or exploration so you can enjoy the grind and make ranks along the way aswell.
Make yourself Ally to the guys at your selected station,to max out output,if you are happy on earn rate stay there and refine your skills,and enjoy

Here is my latest tip.(Spoiler,if u like)

On my way too get some planatary materials i stopped for repair my ship at Baumount vision,Hip 48786 which offered Data missions at start fee of 300k  too Gliese 9312,Wingquist next door,but station is 300k ls out,if Pays is affected on my trading ranks and works for you i dont know,i ended up at ally fee of 500k too allmost 800k pr mission x 20 pluss a consideration of going for a improvement on my Admiral topping for the Federation.

I left it hot,i had Engineering on my mind,but i belived  i spent about 2.5 hrs there,maybe i go back there later on,or doo some passengers nearby....;)

If you go that way bring a ADS for some scan creds along the way,and like in the book,its the way there and back again.And dont forget a Nanobreaker swallower,a hungry 4t or a 8 ton cargorack should be enough.

Make shure too enjoy  all the sourundings,and game offers on visualizations,which are truely Great.A new therm have gotten hot on that part,Space Selfies,galleries online and i believe computers etc all over the world are filled too the brick on it,so now you have your own holly chanse of going offcam and snapp your own,loots of landscapes too amaze.

My tip off is made on save you for the biggest investment in the game,Time.May not be the best way.But tipping on a good intention,it is.

Hope it works out for you and you end up as a great Ed player
