Frontier giving their playerbase advance notice for ending an exploit seems akin to a police department announcing on their Facebook page the houses that it intends to raid for illegal activity.

"Hey, exploiters. You better take serious advantage of the exploit credits because we're about to shut it down."

That is literally not how it works. They already announced it on the relevant forum thread, they don't need to give you a heads up before plugging an exploit.

The whole Idea that this was a fix is hilarious. It’s one of the things that made the game feasible to play. Unless you have no life or live in someone’s basement.

Feasable to play? Seriously? Many of us play the game feasibly without using mode switching to stack missions that pay way more than they should.

I also have a full time job and plenty of things that happen outside of Elite: Dangerous, and I still play without using these credit exploits. The whole "no life, living in a basement" argument is weak. Very weak.

I never once said or implied that I was "holier than thou," I only countered your argument by pointing out that in fact, it is viable to play without the broken credit exploits, and those of us who don't use the exploits aren't people with no life, and we don't live in basements.

Just restarted on PC a couple weeks ago. Currently rocking a G5 FDL with 40 million credits in the bank. Having the time of my life.

Why say this? Pointing out it wasn’t broken passenger mission payouts that got me here.

^ and this guy is married and goes out to concerts and stuff, further disproving your "no life, in the basement" remark. I don't want to drag that point out too much longer, but I think it's a bit of a dick move to imply we're all basement nerds because we prefer not to use credit exploits and then resort to the "holier than thou" remark when your comment gets shut down.
