For anyone who is asking themselves about todays emergency maintenance taking place:

The Powerplay cycle did not start after normal maintenance so they are rebooting servers to fix the issue

I love your response, Kyndi. Pretty much what I was thinking.

I'm definitely looking forward to spinning up the beta when I get home. Well, after rehearsals, anyway. It would be nice, though, if ED had a way for us to have more than one commander in one login account. This is a case where I think I'd prefer starting as a new commander just for the beta. Just the same, I'm looking forward to trying out the new features.

You can reset your profile on Beta without affecting your main account. What happens on Beta, stays on Beta.

They're testing custom callsigns in the Beta. Now stations will hail you by either:

-First 3 letters of your CMDRs name
-First 3 letters of your ship's name
-First 3 letters of your ship's ID

It's a small thing, but I was getting tired of being Lakon-Delta-Alpha-Mike. It's an option you can set in the audio settings.

What she means to say is that the circled button (Insert Link) in the referenced photo will allow you to created a clickable link in the dialog box. It makes things easier for people wanting to go to your websites. The other way forces us to copy and paste the links into our browser address bar.

Not gona waste moore money on that lottery,new ships will come aswell,it says,before you know it you(me)used billions and hours crafting the worst of them......well tested and aproved is factors valued from now on  on my side,in the meantime rest of you are highly welcome to test them out for me...,luckely i lost onely around 55 mill when i sold my t10,and was not on the deep end of my pocket.

The Type -10 Defender is a fun ship to run when well engineered. As it stands you can run around and pretty much ignore everyone as it's pretty much indestructible. With a decent distributor it may even become fun to open up on someone. A bit spendy for routine maintenance, but it's got space, fighters, crew and range. A good solid ship for combat fleet support or exploration. I think of it as a recreational vehicle. Maybe I'm just cheep though. Once I collect something I tend to keep it. Bit of a hoarder I guess. Just can't abide selling at a loss. I can store lots of stuff in it. That's actually what most of my big ships are used for. Never mind. You are probably right. It's a waste to be sure. I probably should dump it but not just yet.

When selling ships, strip them first. Sell off the individual optional internals, utilities, and hardpoints first, then downgrade core internals to E class and sell off the hull last. You take less of a credit loss doing it that way than if you just hulk the ship in one shot with the modules still in it.
