GiyariOn the topic of the Chieftain, I found it quite enjoyable! I fitted engineered modules from my gunship and FDS, and its a blast to fly! Its a bit slidey, but an occasional boost solves that, which I'd be doing anyway.

It turns on the spot, it has a huge dps potential and really good hardpoint locations, has a great jump range, and more than enough space for a combat ship, which is what it's listed as (i think). Its not a multiroles (i think),but it could potentially be.

Either it's something about my joystick, or the fact you have engineered modules, but I don't see the turn-on-a-dime. Not at all. For me any lateral turn (via yaw) is sllllloooooowwwww.

Roll then pull up, like an airplane.

Yaw is incredibly slow. You need to roll and use pitch.

The larger the ship, the worse the yaw, even with engineering.

As Phisto and Stryker said. Yaw is never great on ships larger than small landing pads. Its all about the pitch and roll speed, which the chieftan has absolute tons of (despite the slight slides when doing so, hence the boosts). If tou fly it like a Python, it will impress you with its maneuverability. Throw in the insane hardpoint convergence and cool running (i hit 0% heat using a single medium hardpoint G5 efficient thermal vent beam) and you've got a hell of a combat craft.

And as stryker said, theres enough room for pirate utilities and HRP/MRP as well, just. Could make for a good raider, though i doubt it would usurp the Python or Dropship.

hehe, anyone find themselfes familiar running around in a fed dropship..last night a player desided to join side with a npc Ramming Conda,i decided a prank so having the Conda kissing my butt,i returned fire on the player and left him/her there with 5 % hull, and a Hot Npc...even without dropping my shield(a supprise ,it was),they were really kicking ass there a moment,:P

guess, the player was happy if he/she made it out.;)

on the side id shure give the Conda bounty as a friendly gesture, maybe some players go for other players at any cost,huh...or a fairly fresh Cmdr.

Brynhild HervorsdottirWhen selling ships, strip them first. Sell off the individual optional internals, utilities, and hardpoints first, then downgrade core internals to E class and sell off the hull last. You take less of a credit loss doing it that way than if you just hulk the ship in one shot with the modules still in it.

Yes,You are soo right, and ishould maybe done so..i decided too "drop it like its Hot"....the mistake i did was like many others i belive, like the old Gold rush movies lol...somone shouted gold and everybody loose their minds and, make a run for it....or in my case just because the money is present, and rushed aswell...

it also puts me on a funny thought of if this is the games way to keep money in circulation too avoid money inflation, since huge money accounts are built up allover,if it continues nothing is worth anything anymore, ranking and evrybody can buy ex 20 Corvettes.gives also inflation on ranking ...lol...just a impression....the huge money grinds, was not supposed too happen were they....tempts too spend is a way,and since this is the most expencive you can have without ranking....and shure traps players in focus on Thargoids aswell..

There is no inflation in this game because there is no player based economy. This isn't EvE online.

SirGamblerhmm, shure?what is nerfing all about....direct inflation like in commodities, your right offcause, and it was just a pinch thought i found funny...maybe they should consider it as a direct feature,in trading and other economic values....inflation,exist eveywhere

hehe,im beeing stupid....sorry

I wouldn't call it nerfing per say. They put an end to a get rich quick exploit. It wouldn't be the first time they have done this and it won't be the last.

SirGamblerinflation adjusted on God Mode,nerfing...hahaha...

Okay, first, there is no inflation in ED because there is no player economy. I can buy 500 federal Corvettes and the price will remain the same in the 501st purchase. There is variation in commodites but it isn't due to the economy. I believe it is tied to the BGS.

Yes, certain BGS statuses will affect prices of commodities: Boom, War, Civil War, Bust, Famine, Outbreak, etc. For instance, I've watched a Painite bubble burst following the local controlling faction leaving a Boom.

Coriolis now shows the AX weapons and utilities, so you can outfit your anti-xeno ships properly. It's still missing the Research and Decontamination Limpet Controllers though.

Besides your post crying for some punctuation,

there's currently a lot of spreadsheets in the web about engineers. Of course they will be outdated after the update, but I'm sure there'll be a lot of new ones aswell. I suggest being patient and looking out for someone else to do the job for you

Also, I bet Artie's got something behind his back about the engineers ...
