Actually, you need 175 mil at least to fully make a Python combat worthy for normal or hard CZ. Anything less and you'll be looking at the rebuy screen more often than you'd like. Python is one of those ships that if not maxed out, or at least A-rated and basic 1-3 grade engineered, then it just becomes a 750 ton paperweight. That's why you should try farming res sites first till you build up some cash, and then purchase the Python and fully A-rate it, and after that it's engineering time.

Brynhild HervorsdottirI once saw a video where Isinona encountered SDC at a CG station. It took four very heavily engineered military grade ships, and a few petulant comments about flying FA-Off from Harry Potter, to finally bring down Isinona, who was in an unengineered, D-rated Viper Mk III. What I'm saying is that Isinona was flying circles around those children for quite awhile before they got the drop on him in supercruise and overwhelmed him with numbers. It's not how big your ship is sometimes, it's how well you fly it.
The right ship in the right hands is untouchable.

Yes you can. You just need to find the right sized one.
You won't be able to fit luxury suites though.
I do however recommend the dolphin. Great ship for passengers, and smuggling. Duel purpose!
