you have to fill out an application from FDev. first a group application, and you will need at least 10 members in your group. then a minor faction application.

this is a third party website and cant influence in game things

There is an application process that you have to follow through Frontier Developments to get your faction added to the game. Inara is a fan website run by a single administrator. It isn't connected to the game except by the API.

INARA is a third party website, it actually has nothing to do with FDev. Things you update here do not change the game in any way.

Getting a minor faction in game is actually quite a drawn out process. Have you seen this info?: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php?t=241826

Then, when you do get it, you actually have to work with the BGS to get it into power: https://forums.frontier.co.uk/showthread.php/193064-A-Guide-to-Minor-Factions-and-the-Background-Sim

In other words, it's not as simple as updating some data on a website. There's an application process, a long wait, then a lot of hard work ingame.

Most of these wings you see here are out-of-game groups held together by some communication method and a common goal. You're not going to find the 351st AVW in game because I haven't submitted the application. It's just a group of people who support Alliance factions in game, connected by the INARA website wing function for coordination.

I guess english is not his first or second language...we would need a more "school"-type of english...

SWCC-22: Inara has NO direct link to the Game...it's only a support-tool outside the game...do NOT add planets factions or systems here on Inara

You guys expect a lot from non-native-speakers

...imagine you had to communicate that well in German, Spanish or French

On the brief look it seemed alright, possible minor changes will be fixed "on their own" during regular updates. Lalande 4141, Sol, etc. were fixed already.

i know youre an absolute machine at bug fixes and what not but have you ever considered getting some admins/moderators to help out? i cant imagine how you run this site all by yourself man XD

I guess it pulls the info from EDSM? so it corrects itself?

i was talking more about all of the sites features, updates, almost instant bug fixes, and dealing with things like that previous kerfuffle about war or what ever it was

i have know idea how he does all this stuff by himself. he is truly omnipotent XD
