Well, sucks to be that person. It'll be the same principal - enough detail to layout the grimness of the situation without turning it into a B-grade splatter film.

Alright, thanks again for the information!

ReekyartifactHey, quick pair of questions since I don’t know where else to ask it, is gore acceptable in log entries?
And if so, to what level?
Thanks in advance to anyone who pops me an answer!

I have a few logs that I consider a bit gory. But try to avoid too much description.

For example when Stryker lost his arm. I did describe what happened, and how he felt, but I didn't "fixate" on it.

Same with a scene where he was captured and tortured. Again, some description but I didn't fixate on it.

What I try to do is render the emotion of the experience.

If you are unsure, feel free to hit a few of us up with a draft. We can take a look and offer some opinions and feedback. That in itself has been invaluable to me.

Here are my two cents. My storytelling comes from Tom Clancy-esque novels, so highly technical and minute details abound. If you're not the kind of reader who cares exactly how the bolt of an FN-FAL moves through its receiver as it cycles a freshly-fired cartridge from the chamber, kicks out the brass casing with a slight ping of the ejector, and strips a new round from the top of the magazine, then it becomes a boring slog and goes right over others' heads.

Short answer: less is more. Try to focus on the emotions rather than the actions. Also, a little research into anatomy and wound diagrams, though grisly, will lend a bit more credence to what you're writing, if you're aiming for 100% accuracy over artistic license.

Oh Jesus, so many helpful people! Thanks guys, you all helped me find a happy (much less fetishistic) medium to go off of.

For anyone needing Datamined Wake Exceptions, there's two distribution centers 40ls away from the primary in V350 Canis Majoris.

Marra MorganYou should be able to pay off the fine in Cleve Vision, under Contacts.

If you don't see the option, double-check that you have a Fine and not a Bounty.

If it's definitely a fine and you can't pay it off under Contacts, take some screenshots and log a Bug Report

Oh. It’s a Bounty. It said fine but after restarting it said bounty. We’re do I pay that?

Interstellar Factor. You find those in Low Security systems. EDDB.io/Systems can help you with that. Change Security to Low and type in your current location under Reference System to find one.

Think of a leaky ketchup bottle in a vacuum chamber (crushed cockpit + space)

I don't think that imagery like that would overwhelm anyone's sensibilities. Just remember that if the scene takes place on deep space that the blood would float around in little globules instead of making a huge stain on the deck!

Artie... or one-click solution: nearest interstellar factors.

Can you make this default to my current system updated via the API rather than the latest search I did?
Then it is one-click

This is great, thanks Artie!

And remember folks - Interstellar Factors are present at all Anarchy controlled stations - the more Anarchy stations there are, the more convenient bounty-clearing becomes.

Do your bit for the community and flip a system to Anarchy
