- is it useful, or just an annoying distraction.

Octagons bad.



Plot twist, Flowers bad, Octagons bad.

Both Thargoid variants can appear in the same instances, and both attack you. The scouts show up first, and then a minute or so later a Cyclopes or Medusa variant wakes wakes in and joins in too.

You already have one installed by default when you purchase a ship. The one in the store is an alternate audio pack, purely cosmetic. Purchase at your own leisure, but you don't have to if you don't want to.

You must be living next door to FDEV if your game finished so quickly. Me, it seems it won't go over 3MB/s nomatter how much i pray. Only 50% done.
