Hey, quick pair of questions since I don’t know where else to ask it, is gore acceptable in log entries?
And if so, to what level?
Thanks in advance to anyone who pops me an answer!

Yes, there is no problem with it on a reasonable level required for the story. The purposeless gore perversion should be rather avoided.

Ehhh I had a couple that got very violent. As long as it doesn't become gore porn or something you'll be fine. It should be about enhancing the mood of the situation rather than just splattering everything in blood.

From the point of view of a reader - if descriptive gore adds to or is necessary to the plot, I personally do not have a problem with it.

If it's gratuitous, for the sake of being edgy, then I personally won't bother reading on.

Not speaking for anyone else, that's just me

My CTRL+B to display bandwidth usage doesn't work anymore.

Does anyone know if they changed it, before I go back through the Patch Notes?

I’ll probably just keep that particular log buried till I get a good feel for things, thanks for the info!

I like to keep it simple - "There was a loud crack and a spray of blood as the metal pipe connected with his skull," rather than "His skull shattered and bits of brain splattered on the floor while blood covered everything in sight and his eyeball dangled from his socket. His intestines etc etc etc." The reader doesn't need to know that stuff, just that the poor sod was smacked in the head with a pipe and it was a bit messy.

It was a very heavy pipe and I haven't had my morning coffee yet. Working on that though.

Appears to be an unintentional bug, framerate monitor is also not working - no patch notes about it.

However, both bandwidth and framerate will appear in the main menu screen if activated. Not much use for them there though!

Think of a leaky ketchup bottle in a vacuum chamber (crushed cockpit + space)
