GiyariDoes your anarchy system not have an Interstellar Factor contact? Probably a good idea to wipe your bounties after a period of time



The beauty of the new C&P system is that you only need to clear your bounties if you need to - I clear mine as part of operating costs like fuel and ammo, because I do a lot of BgS stuff and having access to the mission boards is needed.

Other criminals will no doubt enjoy holding on to their bounty tallies for as long as they can, increasing their own challenge as players and ATR start getting interested in them


Yup, same here... i only noticed "not clean" status on modules the other day coz i was swapping hatch breakers for a planetary wehicle hangar the other day...
Before these changes i had about 10 to 15 M bounty i ignored...with c&p changes it wannished

P.S: @Mara, catchy name... you seem familiar...i think i saw you the other day in that anarchy system. Especially if your ship is named with name of goddess Hecate xD

I need help on how to pay the bounties and penalties....I have tried everything.....just doing a scan mission I get wanted after being attacked by skimmers?...I thank you for your time...Regards..

It explains how the new system works, and also about the Interstellar Factors, hot modules, et.c.

Summed up:
  • Wanted status applies to ship and modules and does not go away over time.
  • Notoriety status applies to your character and Notoriety decreases by 1 point every 2 hours of gameplay.
  • Max Notoriety = 10, thus it takes minimum 2, maximum 20 hours to reduce Notoriety to 0.

  • When you commit an illegal act your ship becomes Wanted.
  • You can clear Wanted status at Interstellar Factors.
  • Your Notoriety must be 0 before you can clear Wanted status.

Easy way to avoid Wanted status is simply to change ships.

Ps. Fines can be paid as normal from the Authority contacts in the Contacts page of the Station Services.

Confused about Power Play:

I spent 4 weeks and 2 days in a power to unlock their weapon, bought it for one ship, got out of the power and now it is no longer available for my other ships.

I thought once you unlock a power weapon reward you can get it whenever? Did I do something wrong?

you only have Access to Powerplay specific weapons and modules as Long as you are rank 3 and 4 weeks pledged to the power.
if you leave them or drop out of rank 3, the modules or weapons wont be available any more.

Ok so I have to buy the weapon for every ship I want it on before I leave and go to a new power. I guess I'm repledging

The merits for the rank can be gained easily in the latter part of the last week.

Hey everyone, question on engineering, sorry if there is a sticky for this somewhere, I looked but did not see...

I have maxed out my 5A FSD with long range Grade 5 upgrades completed with Farseer. If I upgrade either the fast boot or shielded FSD, do I lose my grade 5 long range upgrades, or can you do both?

Or, can you upgrade all, and switch between them? If that's the case, how would you go about switching?

If I remember correctly you loose the former upgrade in lieu of the new one.

So you have to basically choose which one you want and go for that.
