BaronCrusherI update Inara via ED Market Connector.. but that process seems slow. How long does it take for Inara to reflect my materials count? Seems ot be lagging.

It lags on my ship config as well. I made changes to my ship weapons and it never shows up in Inara. I gave up on it.

Every API request is performed immediately. If something wasn't updated then it means it wasn't sent to API.

It doesn't work for ship module changes. I have the API running 24/7 and it never updates ship modules. I play ED 3-4hrs per day. It updates locations and credits and other high level stuff, but the only time I got the module data to load into Inara was after I installed the tool. Clicking "Update" does not update.

You don't have the API running 24/7, the API isn't a program, it just defines how a program you run on your PC talks to Inara. I'd make sure you're running the most recent version of that, then report a bug to the authors of that software.

its definitely an issue with the api or the site server. I run 2 different programs always kept up to date and the site doesnt always update my information.

There are quite a few video content creators out there who would make very good use of that feature, but I suspect that we'll need to wait until we grow legs and go walkabout.

Space-legs brings some promising stuffs, but there are two things I sincerely hope Frontier consider very carefully:

It must not come at the cost of improving and iterating on the core gameplay, ie the Beyond roadmap. It's a nice-to-have, not a must.

Secondly, that it brings compelling gameplay. Learn from CCP's mistake and don't make it some pointless vanity showpiece. It needs to be more than a pretty alternative to the station menu.

In short - give us a great spaceship game first, then think about giving us legs. I can wait.

I am quite sure there is no issue with the API in that area.
But if do you have a suspicion about something that should be updated and was not, tell me the (more or less) exact time when it should be updated and I will check the logs.

As said before, every API request is performed immediately, that's how it works, there is no "postponing" of the requests or similar stuff. If it was not performed, then it wasn't received by the API (or the information was older than the last change, which shouldn't be a case with API updates). It's up to each app how, when and which data are sent to API (there are some general recommendations about not flooding the server with a ton of requests or redundant information, but otherwise it's quite benevolent).
The modules stored and ship loadout should be usually updated after the changes in game's Outfitting or at startup (that's when the StoredModules and Loadout events are written in the journal) and then subsequent undock/jump/etc. (that's when the events are usually sent to API). As mentioned above - if do you know that something should be updated and you are having the exact time, I can check the logs.

Artie I am having high hopes for the space legs, it opens so many new possibilities!

Ah, I'd gladly spend a whole day just wandering in a space bar, watching people hanging out and talking. Just like a 3D version of The galactic bar.

I want to wander the interior of my ship and look out various port holes. Imagine that.

Explore derilict ships and installations, salvage rare alloys from the reactor and download data from the computer core.

First person fight NPCs and Thargoids.

Break into ground facilities (and megaships) and perform heists.

I have been excited for and anticipating space legs since release. Every new update season leaves me slightly disappointed haha. Maybe season 4

Is this the right place to ask a question about finding data? Two day's searching now for abnormal compact emission data, and the Grind is killing me... not found one. Any hot tips please!!! mission rewards or good systems. Can anyone help?

Try an encoded material broker? Maybe you could trade for the items you need.
