Anyone have a rough idea what the data consumption, on average, is while playing Elite? Say I got a 50 GB data limit per month on an internet plan, and I'm causing trouble in this galaxy 4 hours a night every night, anyone have an idea if that's going to be sufficient?

Also keep in mind this story takes place in the Kingdom of Bahrain, so the internet is from a mobile wifi hotspot that's filled with data at what could be charitably called a convenience store, and instructions are written in Arabic.

You could activate that and just fly around to see how much bandwith Elite uses up. Then extrapolate the approximate data usage etc.

If you're sending the same message to the whole wing, you could just post it in the General Message section.

Do you have or can you get behind a personal router? Then watch those logs.
