i'd just like to know, if there is a way to tag a minorfaction as playerfaction since ours isn't tagged here^^ on eddb.io we've tagged our faction half a year ago but we'd like to do it here too so that others can be aware of us in the neighbourhood.

I don't think the PF/NPF flag can be set by anyone other than Artie. The author of this site.
You might try posting the problem to his attention.

Hi all, I've returned to the game after a long while off and I'm sick of being no rank and poor. I need a way to grind fed level and credits fast. I've been hearing about skimmer missions, boom delivery missions but could someone just give me a quick heads up on how to do these and what method to make it as profitable as I can? I'm a new dad again and don't get much time to play anything so I'd like to be able to maximise my time.

If you're willing to deal with people I might suggest installing a passenger cabin or two (business or first class) and start doing some passenger missions. The folks you're carrying can be fussy, but the jobs often pay pretty well. Just make sure your ship is equipped to handle a trip before accepting the job (ie: traveling outside the Bubble without a decent jump range (at least 25 ly, I'd say) and a fuel scoop is an absolute no-no).

Pick a good large population system in an area showing lots of trade routes on the system map.
If you have a preference, think which area you want to develop your rep in first. Federation, Empire, or Alliance.
That may be determined by which larger-ship you are going to aim for. Must have rank with the right allegiance to qualify.
Then just make it yours and work that home-base port system to death.
I made Admiral with Thunderbird as my home base system before I knew what being an Admiral ment.
It's the simplest method to grind requiring no thinking.

I second that recommendation. The Cobra Mk III is a excellant multipurpose ship for commanders on a tight budget.

Op4daveI made my first kill yesterday. I was having problems changing my power distribution until I got the Voice attack mod. I no longer have to worry about blind typing while in VR. Just say Red Alert and power goes to my weapons and shields. The more I play the cooler this game gets.



As in player kill?


NPC they have been kicking my but whenever I have too much in my holds.

I did mine last year. You should find a system with as many fed factions as possible and build rep with them until your allied. Sol is perfect, but doesnt have to be there. Any specific questions?

Oh so YOU'RE the forum dick. I asked for grind methods, one was suggested and wasn't one of the two methods I mentioned.
