Like Napoleon Dynamite, I enjoy making sweet jumps in the scarab.

Well, it's a "normal" Thargoid attack, so no damage to the Guardian SRPs in my Adder.

But the entire rest of my fleet is in that burning station.

Better not hang around for Glaives to show up around the station (they do) if you're trying to play bait despite the momentary service interruption.

And if you're so inclined the game will let you transfer ships to a nearby safe station. I think.

My Adder is quite fast, but I think only my Courier can outrun Glaives.

I went to Jameson Memorial to take a look but didn't stay long.

Question to the AX pilots out there: Who's causing more trouble in ShinDez now, goids or gankers?

Almost finished with my AX Chieftain build. Just a few more stops for some Exp Effects. (I *wish* we could apply those elsewhere than with the Engies.)

Any advice on my fire groups?

Hard points (and other devices) are:
2x 2B Guardian Gauss Cannons
2x 1D Guardian Gauss Cannons
1x 2B Remote Release Flak Launcher [Fixed] (Should I have done turret?)
1x 1E Beam Laser (for thermal vent)
As well as heat sinks and repair limpets

Muhahaha, look who interdicted me.

My hat is off, fellow Adder pilot. o7

I've seen more complaints about the gankers than the Thargoids. However as orbital station CZs have a few... issues*... of their own, there's also been some directed at the angry space flowers.

*Like the fact they will begin to rotate with stations at excessive speeds once somebody goes inside it with rotational correction enabled. Those bugs were another reason for me to only go there in solo so far, though I've also only run one CZ up to this point.

... and usually Glaive spawns only appear some way into a CZ when Interceptors start getting dropped, so just having a quick poke around is unlikely to run into any of them. Plus there's usually plenty of spare targets to distract (NPC or otherwise).

They claim they are goids sympathizers not gankers when I was intercepted in SD today. They work in pairs and one of them was thomasquwack.

I'm currently docked at Jameson. Much to my surprise, the inside of the station isn't on fire, so there's no problem with heat or debris when landing. Unfortunately there isn't much for me to do. The shipyard is offline, and the evacuation missions available for small ships pay much less than my usual taxi jobs, which is odd.

Only two interdictions on the way to Jameson. I've seen worse.

Thargoids must be keeping some of them busy with interdictions of their own. And they’re practically impossible to avoid.

As for the matter of the station burning, that actually would only occur if it goes into the damaged state, not while it’s still under active assault. And even though this is an abnormally tough invasion to clear (current numbers on here would have cleared at least one and a half of the regular invasions in current balance, possibly even two, but this one has not even reached 15% progress), it’s unlikely to get to the week where the station is damaged.

Unless Frontier actually intend for that to happen but right now I suspect that they gave two week access to the system to run an AX initiative and follow up with a repair materials delivery CG next week. Could of course always happen they send a second surprise our way by a Thargoid reinforcement wave halfway through…

… and let me tell you, things around a damaged Orbis/Coriolis/Ocellus in Thargoid invasion get very chaotic very quickly because the people stealers stalk the port, but its defense guns still function and will easily rip through a Scythe. Which then causes Interceptors to start dropping in in very large numbers, alongside a lot of Scouts. And I’m not talking about a couple Cyclops, but there’ll be a bunch of Basilisks, Medusas, even a Hydra at one point… quite a while ago now, was definitely before update 18 hit. More than half a dozen Interceptors can populate such an instance at a time. It’s actually worse than when it gets actively attacked.

I took a rescue mission for 800K Cr and promptly got hyperdicted. FSD was disabled for quite a while, but the goids couldn't catch up. Apparently no glaives were involved, otherwise it might have ended with a rebuy. Docked at the rescue ship with 99% hull.

What's funny though is that the moment I took off from Jameson, I slightly collided with two ships inside the station, and the next thing I saw was a bounty claim.

Apparently I was somehow involved in the destruction of CMDR thomasquwack.

Ah, yes. The famous "You collided with a ship that got blown up moments later, so you obviously meant to murder them"... you may also remind said pilot to turn off their damned crime reports in a war zone.

The thing we may never know is if they met their demise at the hands of Thargoids or a more human cause.

And what hyperdicted you would have been a Scythe. They go a little above 500 m/s at best but don't seem capable of perma boosting so a boost speed of roughly 500 tends to be enough to outrun them. They also have FSD reboot missiles and a weapon which does lots of shield but not much hull damage (will also zap your ship if it still has shields up). They're effectively the Thargoid version of a pirate but with highly specific focus of stealing humans, be that passengers or pods with wounded in the hold. They come with hatchbreaker-replicas to that end too, but will only launch them if the opposing ship has no shields [left].

Thargoids aren’t inherently aggressive or territorial, as they say. They attack us because they have no choice. They are the victims, and humanity is the aggressor. At least those in power. The rest are fools. Something stinks here. Why did the megaships start moving days ago? How could they have known the Thargoids would attack? They made that decision based on something. THEY ARE LYING TO US! And I refuse to play this false game.
We all know what Salvation was capable of. How Black Flight operated, how he wiped out the entire crew of the Alexandria. He’s a madman with no limits. In HIP 22460, he must have used bait. Something that powers the Proteus Wave. Something that turned the Proteus Wave into something that ultimately harmed us. Azimuth is holding the Queen captive. She sabotated the proteus wave. Thargoids want her back and now they have chance when people are moving their queen into Shin Dezhra.
