Elite: Game talk

One thought led to another, and it occurred to me that with how massive the game world is and how many factions are squabbling among themselves, that it was silly from a lore and realism perspective that the total selection of modules and weapons would be so limited, even factoring in engineering (though understandable from the perspective of game design).
Thus did I come up with the idea of Rare Modules, acquired in the same way as system permits. They are imagined with C&P, lore-friendliness, and balance in mind. Feel free to comment on the document!

Ergo, your situation wouldn’t happen.

This website is illegal in the Kingdom of Bahrain. Straight up illegal and inaccessible. Splash screen says "Site Blocked. This web site has been blocked for violating regulations and laws of Kingdom of Bahrain." Coincidentally, the same sort of splash you'd see if you were to, say, try to access a pornography website in Bahrain. I wish I was making that up, but I'm 100% serious. EDTools is inaccessible in a random part of the Middle East. No other website in the support website oeuvre of Elite Dangerous is blocked.
So I have to find my pristine metallic rings through various other, and unreliable sources. Overcome and adapt. The purpose of this as a The More You Know on different parts of the world.
That is quite unfortunate. Here is another option for you https://eddb.io/system

As for the Um I’m in full support of the proposed change. In my mind this means the bubble will finally shift in meaningful ways. I must admit in my mind I feel there are few larger powers that will see their size actually shrink since this has never been their expertise. The UM strategy and for that matter forting strategy will take on a whole new meaning. Plus being in open it hopefully removes the sabotage of 5c and bots.

I realize it could potentially throttle your internet speed, but have you tried using a VPN (like betternet or protonvpn)? Or would getting caught with that kind of thing in your country be even worse?

Oh goodness! I wonder why... Sorry that didn't work for you.
As others have pointed out, there are other options, but if they do not pan out, PM me with your current system or system of interest and I'll be happy to do the lookup for you - albeit maybe delayed a bit.

just not to sure how or why they are on the surface or even how to communicate with them.
any ideals or information well be used and helpful, oh and yes they are operational and can lift off if attacked

Lightninduring landing mission in the buggy, I come across some AI ships sitting on the surface, what is the best way to approach these ships, attack, try to break into them, or use some from of limpet or ship board system to deal with them.

For future reference questions specifically about gameplay are probably best asked in the general
/game talk board. Now to answer your question -
If you're talking about the little drone-like sentries just shoot it out with them. They shouldn't be too hard to dispatch.
If you're talking about actual space-faring ships...I dunno. First consider if it's really necessary to engage them at all. I've had NPC ships hover over me while doing missions in the SRV a few times. I just ignore them and go about my business. Generally they won't act until you're in the air in your own ship, and you should be able to get away before they cause you too much grief.

RandrackSo I have been in Lalande 4141 and Dalfur the last couple of days going to nhss threat lvl 5 looking for Cyclops and basalisks to solo and all I have ever seen are the scouts/mauraders do they not show up in the new eagle eye target systems? If not where should I look close to the bubble or do I just need to head to the pleides for this?
Threat level 7 or above is what you need, there is a reported 50/50 chance of them in Lvl 6, but I’ve only had it once in several drops. Just be wary in a Lvl 6 because you have only the Scouts to begin with, Momma may drop in after a bit with a shutdown pulse.
Happy hunting 07

no what I was asking is the ships are landed and are just sitting on the surface with no damage and a pilot in the ship.
I am in my buggy picking up salvage and just wondering what is the best way to approach the ship or even if you can steal them.
maybe I can send one of the hired hands to attack the ships in a fighter?
any way just asking if anybody would know about this encounter while on the surface of a planet
