Careful with these, sometimes hostiles will be sent after you. They pop in right as you reach your objective.

RoguePilot [...] simple salvage missions [...]
BolasieI do agree that you should get used to doing without a docking computer for some of your ships to free up slots. I have one in my Python for convenience and because I am lazy. I have one in my T9 because.. well, if you have a T9 you know why! I don't use one for my Asps or my Chieftain, and you will quickly get used to docking without one, and it wont always be a pain.
A word of warning though. Always, and I mean ALWAYS, check the gravity of a planetary landing and act accordingly. Docking at very high G in a big ship with no Docking Computer is quite an experience!

Worlock77RoguePilotStryker AuneRoguePilotHi everyone. New player here. (11 days in). I'm in the starting systems (LHS 3447/Eravate) and ready to make my first purchase. Can an someone please point me to a nearby station that has a Dolphin for sale? I've been to about 18 different systems in this area, and have come up with dust bunnies. Thanks!
Welcome to Inara.
The dolphin is a great little smuggl-er, I mean passenger ship. Zippy, fun and all around a joy.
I hope she works well for you and your future endeavors!
Thanks so much! Loving this game. The first 4-5 days were a serious nightmare, but I pushed through and learned what I needed to. Now I'm really hooked.
Just bought the Dolphin and still have 4 million credits left over. Any performance or frameshift mods I should be looking at?
Get a fuel scoop. It's an absolute must if you plan on venturing outside the "Bubble" (the core human occupied space), but even if you're going to remain within the Bubble it's still good to have, as it'll save a lot of time and hassle since you won't have to dock somewhere to refuel every few jumps. And if you're doing passenger missions it's good to have. A lot of passengers are fussy about getting scanned, and you'll almost certainly be scanned whenever you dock at a spaceport.
Also I wouldn't recommend going crazy with the upgrades just yet, not until you've got a sizable bank account built up. That 4,000,000 credits isn't going to go as far as you might think, especially if your ship gets destroyed and you start running into the cost of rebuys. I know for my ships a single rebuy will cost me a couple million each time. So no matter what make sure you maintain enough credits for at least one or two rebuys. You don't want to sink all your money into a nice beautiful ship configuration only to lose it and end up back in the basic Sidewinder because you can't afford the rebuy.

Omigosh, how'd you get that thing to 68ly jump range? And fully loaded? I guess you must have engineered EVERYTHING for low mass and with Stripped Down experimental features.
Engel Von EvilsteinHello everyone, is it someone have an info to find some painite???

My sincere apologies, I misread something the first time round.
