yes this happened. when i heard about i decided to make a inara account for my nephews GT and first use it to call out nox. the plan was to wait untill there were many commanders on the discord and start asking questions while pinging everyone. didnt quite work out though

The real icing on the cake for me is the last bit of Nox's bio states one of his "skills" is "diplomacy."

I am a rather Diplomatic Person but when Diplomacy fails i use Gunboat Diplomacy.

Also if i am a bad leader like they are trying to say. Why do i have 40 Pilots in my faction and have very good Relations with our allies? Surely if i was a "Tyrant" like they are saying The 104th Humanity Defence Force wouldn't be close to where it is now

Even a broken clock is right twice a day.

Besides, not knowing you, I can't say what kind of leader you are. I just know, being the new guy in town with a ton of potential, I don't find myself leaning towards joining the ranks of either "side" of this situation.

It's all a bit heavy for my liking. I'll stick to my solo exploring and occasional check ins with my 650 member wing.

As it may start to go in circles, let's end it there.

I just would like to mention few things as similar cases may happen from time to time, for the full transparency:

Any inter-personal stuff is best to solve in private with all parties involved. If there is no other way, it should be a stuff that significantly affects Inara and our community here. Although I understand that receiving messages and threats like: "I will crush my enemies, see them driven before me and hear the lamentations of their women in their shipyards." is not something everybody may like, it's still a part of the game and as such it is also a matter of the game. If anybody will feel harassed in the game by the actions of somebody else, it may be a case for Frontier's support. Real-life threats are something completely different, of course, and it's something that I "award" with an immediate and permanent ban without any warnings. That also may include clear black-mailing and similar stuff, including attempts to pretend to be somebody else (FD staff, other players, etc.) to gain benefits, steal the wing and any other malicious behavior.

In other cases, it is still something that must be evaluated - is the case "Inara's business" or not, does it happened on Inara directly? Is it acceptable within the "common" boundaries or not (like stuff mentioned above, foul language, name calling, etc.)? There are many aspects and be ensured that I take all the cases brought to my attention very seriously and I rarely give early warnings or temporal bans. Everything I don't like and what I consider as serious "misbehavior" ends with a perm-ban. On the other hand, I am also sticking to be objective as much as possible and I want to have everything proven. I am mentioning that just for the completeness and in a case somebody will wonder that some actions were or weren't taken in the future.

Well, if you had contributed to the conversation in any way, it certainly wouldn't be. It just looked like the peanut gallery commenting. Besides, it was meant as a little light-hearted ribbing, if you didn't take it that way, well, not much I can do about that.
