I'm OCD enough that, since rankings are there, I try to keep mine accurate - but if they're a hassle detracting from keeping the rest of the site as excellent as it is, ditch them and I'll tell my OCD to shut up.

I didn't take any offense, you don't need to apologize.

I don't mean to portray war as a positive thing, I simply contest the view that wars leave nothing but destruction. If that were true, humanity wouldn't exist as it does today.

I see your point that certain people would use such facts as an argument to justify a war, but those arguments can easily be refuted with economic and political arguments.

Let me say this clearly, from my point of view war is an inherently bad thing that can have occasional positive effects, but that's by no means a guaranteed outcome, let alone one that'd justify the horrendous cost in lives and ressources. For me there's no other justification for war than being attacked with military force.

Personally,
I read Arties reply as "It was a feature added to the site when CQC was sorta, kinda a thing, when 3 people played it, but since it's all gone to the crows, it's pretty much vestigial."

Seems to me the Inara ranking system needs to be cut out.

Today I shall travel to 51 Pegasi, to pay homage to the first exoplanet that humanity discovered on October 6th 1995 by Michel Mayor and Didier Queloz. I've decided that it will be my first foray into Open world play.

I actually like the ranking, but not so much that if it is a distraction you should keep it. I do love the one showing what ships the most have so keep that if you can though!

Thanks for the opinions. As these all provide the same message, it means just the only thing - no tear will be shed about rankings disappearance, so it will cease to exist any time from now.

Pretty much my thoughts. I kinda dig the feature (though the Inara site ranking seems a bit pointless), but if it's more hassle than it's worth then vamoose with it.
