BolasieThanks for the info that there is 'history'. I didn't want to see Artie's hard work criticised, but i also didn't want to see someone in trouble for a misunderstanding. Only been on here for 2 or 3 months so don't know all the comings and goings!


Hence why it's best to keep things buried in the past and move on. Can't dwell on something forever or it'll eat you up from the inside.

So true, IC and OOC. That's why I was never tempted to dip in to the 600 odd posts before I started using these forums. Live in the Now, dream of the Future, the past is in the Past.

You wouldn't find anything substantial for the real talks were done elsewhere. Artie makes sure to keep things neat and tidy here, and if people go out of line he'll use his Deletion Hammer to eradicate whole pages if need be.

I'll save you some time:

Murdoc posted a long, cringy, semi-in-character declaration of war on Palladium Consortium on Ghost Legion's behalf. Myself a and a few others asked where Ghost Legion's BGS could be found if we were to want to aid them in said upcoming war. We were told to not worry about it. We were shocked- shocked!- to find that Ghost Legion doesn't actually have a BGS presence in the game, and keeps the name of its BGS faction (Sovereign Justice Collective) a secret so that its BGS can't be targeted. We requested the name of said BGS faction and were told no, it's a secret.

Such (cowardly, in our view) meta-tactics didn't sit well with a few of us, so we targeted a system (Findja) as a punitive measure. Rather than rally the (thousand plus, according to their wing page) troops to fight for their territory, Ghost Legion rolled over and instead filed a support ticket with Frontier over our "unfair" attack, further validating our efforts. They lost Findja. There was much salt spilled. Ghost Legion's wing commander at the time had a meltdown on Discord and told someone to commit suicide (though in fairness he did apologize, if I recall correctly).

At some point Murdoc unleashed hate poetry.

Good times.

Nobody in their right mind would question Artie's superior skill (and possible positive Insanity) with running this site as good as he does.

I don't recall having anything to do with that scenario, yet it appears they have me on the Murdoc list for no reason. I would like to know what I have done to be on that list. If someone who has me on that list could explain that, I would be most appreciative. Yes, I understand the Irony.

Nobody in their right mind would question Artie's superior skill (and possible positive Insanity) with running this site as good as he does. But that wasn't what CMDR Ozmundo was aiming at. Suffice to say there's a bit of history and events which happened that left a bit of a sour note between individuals.

But thanks to Artie we have the Ignore feature, and I for one are making great use of it. People you don't want to interact with are permanently removed from your view, making your life much easier in return.

We all have but one life to live, so no use to waste your given time on people that are detrimental to you in whatever way.


Ignoring people is childish and doesn't actually solve anything,

Murdoc it appears your comment was aimed at sniping people on the forum that cannot defend themselves due to the ignore feature you love so much. I then ask what was your intention for this comment?

Ozmundo, I may have taken your pun out of context, however I still don't see why the pun was used in this particular way.

I merely said I hate children because my kid said, "I'm 9 and I know what I'm doing" as he promptly decided to "save" his
flying on my ships in ED, effectively erasing everything I had. Lesson learned, no more kids on my computer. Kids... bah!

Let me add my condolences for you losing your progress. In the spirit of what Inara truly is. I offer my time to you to rebuild your Cr in various ways to get you back on your feet and rebuild your fleet.

Unlike what you may have read, it can be easily proven that is what Ghost Legion does. Help those that need it.

OMG! I missed garlic salt?! ARRRAGH! I've got the biggest jar you can buy, (or that I've found so far) Kudos!

Don't worry Sir, it's not because of what you said. As mentioned in my posts to Cmdr Bolasie there are people about who are eager to instigate meaningless conversation about past events. Unable to let things go, even going out of their way and try to slander on the official Frontier forums just to get some reaction.

For such people the Ignore feature exists here as well as on the Frontier forums, and that is the greatest tool to silence them permanently. It's the worst you can do to them, for not even the most eloquently written reply would achieve anything positive.

They seek attention, and by replying (even if negative) you give it to them. Igoring them is like tossing said persons in a dark, moldy cellar and slamming the door shut. Maybe one day you'll let them out, but nobody but you is going to decide when that'll be.

Regarding your loss I am sure with some help we can get things back on track. Did you file a report and ask FD to get your save file back though? Maybe you get lucky.
