I can agree with that... Or, even better, mashed potatoes, with roast garlic mashed into them. Hot damn.

I am also losing confidence in finding out why I have been Ignored when I have not partaken in any of the events you keep referring to Murdoc?

Any light shed on the subject would be most appreciated.

I also still believe that Ignoring people because you don't like their opinion is counterproductive, even damaging to the ignoring party. The ignore feature primarily should be used to counter harassment not to avoid valid discussion which is what this forum is for.

Attempting to besmirch those people you have Ignored without allowing a defence is cowardly.

I don't know what you're trying to achieve but whatever it is, I don't believe it is working as intended.

If A puts B on there ignore list A can't see what B has posted.

Even if that is an apology.

Bridges can't be built using that premise, therefore counterproductive.

You are correct in that if A puts B on there ignore list A can't see what B has posted.

They can see quotes from people not on their ignore list or someone not on their ignore list can advise them.

I put it there for another reason. If people can't rebut/defend themselves directly with A then at least while A posts that sort of thing in a public forum others can see the rebuttal/defence. So then A is actually only slamming the Dark, Mouldy Cellar Door on themselves.

Let it rest. Too many bridges burned, too many mistakes on multiple sides, too much deeply running hatred as a result. That's all I will say. Too much has been going on, so that things can only ever turn to the worse. Renraiku, you may have been unjustly tagged as guilty by affiliation with Newton's Fusiliers. I don't know, and I don't want to know. I'm just yearning for this all to be put to rest.

One of the things that sets Elite apart form other games for me, is the stories that emerge from the actions of its players.

Some are ridiculous, silly and funny. Some are breathtaking in their boldness and audacity. Some are a little more heated, especially when conflicts that threaten the work of player groups are involved!

In my eyes, it's all good stuff, as it celebrates the game we all love and enjoy.

It only gets sour when people forget the wonder of a good story, let things get to them personally and take their grievances beyond the realms of the game. Please don't. Keep it in game - hunt your agitators down, blow them up, ravage their BgS - it's all good fun and it makes a story that you and others can enjoy, which is far more entertaining that passive-aggressive mudslinging and block-lists.

I feel that is mostly what I was looking for, any vague clue as to why.

There are a lot of great people out there, it would be a shame to ignore them all. Thank you for understanding

For the record. My ignore list is empty.

I value every opinion, what I do with it, well that's on my shoulders and mine alone.

As the former leader of Newton's Fusiliers nothing would please me more than for all this animosity to be 'put to rest.'

We all did what we did and acted as we thought best. While it's hard for the participants of an event to look back on it as impassioned observers, I think for me personally that's the best way forward.

For what it's worth, I don't honestly hold anything personal against Ghost Legion. Most I'd want is for all of us to laugh about it together someday. Maybe that's not possible, but hey, I'm flying Imperial colors now... so there's that.

Wait...... LL is now imperial? all the ex Black Omega, Fuseliers etc etc are  Imperial??

Loren’s Legion has always been Imperial.  We have a player who had a former character in Black Omega. The Fusiliers are still independent.

Don’t let Monolith see you saying that!  He’ll try to convert you to that crazy religion of his.
