Random thought: I wonder how many ships out there in ED are named Rocinante or Serenity.

More than there are strippers named Mercedes, or Cinnamon. I at least named my FAS the Tachi.

Interesting idea. I took a quick query on the Inara DB and when I ignore the ships names that corresponds to the ship type, the top five of most popular ship names is following.

1. Serenity
2. Taxi
3. Rocinante
4. Voyager
5. Hermes

LOL, the number one slot gives me an idea of the types of peeps most likely to be here. And, of course, the popularity of the Roci fits a lot of my discussions with fellow Browncoats. "The Expanse" tends to strike a familiar chord with fans of "Firefly". I do wonder, though, whether FDev would ever consider adding a ship that was a knod to the Firefly class. I almost feel like the DBX is, but it's a bit too small.

But what the heck is TAXI doing at the #2 slot?

With all the comparisons of the Chieftan and Challenger to the Raza, I am fairly sure Darkmatter is quite popular among the E:D community. At least it managed to survive three seasons instead of one.

Only just finished the first myself.

Lots of people use bubble taxis to ship short range ships to engineers and wherever they're going to war at.

There are also other quite popular variants like Space Taxi and Puddle Jumper. It seems like many people have at least one cab.
