You'll get it and at some point afterwards, you'll suddenly find yourself taking on assassination missions in a 700m/s Sidewinder for kicks. Trust me, it's a slow descent into madness.

Hell I rigged a Diamondback Explorer as a fighter ship some time ago and still take her out for a hunt. The outfitting on my Challenger makes things too easy.

ScubadogWell, and then there are the vids that people have published on the subject. Makes short study of the craft of mining. And looks like we'll get more capability in Chapter 4 (for those so inclined to mining). I think the new scanners are supposed to take a little of the randomness out of mining.

I've seen many of them. Most are just introductions to it, and many of them I take issue with certain details that would initially lead an inexperienced miner astray.

As for Q4, I suspect the scanners are oriented only towards the deposits they're adding in that update. The rocks themselves are already not random in their contents. Most of the randomness in finding specific resources is introduced by the pilot subjectively.

The other night I outfitted a Vulture for mining. It's a fun little monster.

Bernard of Tongerenmore animals plox. On that theme id love animals that can run around the cockpit or bridge of our ships

Think of the torrent of heartbreak and salt that would erupt the first time Fifi is violently ejected through the newly-ruptured canopy...

its ok they will have their own space suit and you can scopp them back up :3 that said i dont think my canopy has ever shattered in game xD when ever damage got so bad i just exploded

Woohoo, you've not lived until you limp back to port with a blown canopy, 20 seconds of breathable air and exhausted re-supply materials. I've been there more than a time or two. A real nail-biter. In fact, my nails are bitten all the way up to my wrists.

Sounds intense :3

I'd have a monkey. They can wear a spacesuit and if pirates were to somehow board my ship it could throw poo at them.

I must disappoint you, this faction seems to be a valid PMF in the game. If somebody stole the name, file a complaint with FD's customer service at the kiosk near pickled onions booth.

(But as there is also a wing of the same name, I don't think it's a trolling. Just somebody chose the similar name.)

Ingrid ElfridrOne valuable tip for after you are able to acquire the ship: don't die. As Johnny Cash said you gotta know when to hold em and know when to fold em. A year and a half with only six insurance claims.

Actually, I think that's attributed to Kenny Rogers, not Johnny Cash.

DarkLordStarkill Thats why i need 600mil cost to buy and max are 555mil and rebuy are 27,7mil

Methinks you're way too impatient and you ended up putting the cart before the horse. Kind of like high school graduates expecting to make their first million $$ shortly after graduation. You gotta walk before you can run. Believe me, speaking as someone who only started ED in January of 2017, there aren't any shortcuts. Everything you do needs to be intentional and methodical.

So, as some have already suggested, look for types of missions that are high-paying and stack well. Another thing to remember is that the higher your INFLUENCE with a faction at a station, the higher pay you get for their missions. Pick a few of factions--not necessarily all at the same station--and run the highest INFLUENCE missions you can and knock them out quickly. Switch to focusing on the $$ rewards once you max out their influence. I've generally seen that doing passenger missions nets you nice chunks of $$, but you will benefit from carrying the largest First Class payload you can afford. Larger passenger volume with better class over longer distances get you more money, as a rule. The other money maker I'm seeing--again, if you have influence--is maxing out your cargo capacity and hauling special mission cargo places. These can actually get you $$ faster because you usually don't have to travel as far. BUT be aware you'll also attract pirates, so be ready with your evade/escape skills ALWAYS. And, if you're smart, you'll find two or three systems close to each other that have missions that just bounce you between them. EXAMPLE: I'm currently running Water Purifiers for the Colonia CG. As it turns out, the Water Purifiers are at nearby Asuras system. Templar Barracks base in Randgnid system (where the CG is) has factions offering cargo missions TO Asuras. So, I fill my holds with missions to Asuras, turn those in, buy up the Water Purifiers and haul them back to Templar Barracks for the CG credits. Win-win. I went from only 50,000 credits (don't ask) to almost 50,000,000 in two days. I'm only able to play about 2-3 hrs at night. The Water Purifiers don't net me much profit, but the CG should net me almost 20,000,000 at this point.

Reputation is your standing with a faction, which gets you the nicer jobs.

Influence is the faction's standing in a particular system.

oh wow game just forgot I had 300k credits put it at 200k so instead of having a million credits I have 900k.
