I agree. "Git gud" just winds people up. I'm going to start employing a subtle reverse psychology technique instead.

when the boy is not on fifa 18 or fortnite. Playing on Xbox 1.
May have to think about getting my own xbox if i want to play more.
Hello commander. PC is always the way to go with elite. Doesnt have to be an Expensive one. Elite will run on most budget game pc's.

ScubadogWow, that went sideways pretty dramatically. As a disinterested party, I didn't take Phisto's posts for more than they were intended--and I'm particularly militant in my opinion of ganking. I mean, in my perfect world I'd have a utility that immediately transmitted an inescapable and 100% destructive feedback wave if anyone ever destroyed my ship as a result of ganking me. But I live in the REAL "virtual world", and I learned the hard way the necessity of paying attention and evasion tactics. You basically get one at the fishbowl, and then I'm going to unceremoniously vacate quickly to another fishbowl. Sure, if I felt someone was truly getting off on ganking and was bloviating, I could be drawn into a ad hominem tete-a-tete. Not really worth it, though. Nobody's minds get changed.

Not long ago (Approximately a month) there was a publicised event to do just that and I believe Phisto Sobanii was one of those teaching others how to Escape, Fight and Outfit themselves. This occurred in Open and nobody got ganked.
I also do my best to teach others and enjoy doing so.
It's not a matter of getting good, it's a matter of learning the game mechanics and how to use them. essentially playing the game and I guarantee that when you learn these things you will not only be able to escape but you will be more efficient in every other way you play Elite: Dangerous, whether that is in PvE, BgS, PP or PvP.
I implore everyone to learn a little more, better your game, better yourself.
You do not need to spend hours and hours doing it, simply ask questions, you will get answers and you will learn, if the opportunity arises wing up with others, watch what they do, have mock duels till shields down, practise escaping from each other, etc.
I wish you all luck in whatever you do and however you play.
