I've signed up for it. To me the delay is a good thing - I'm close to Sag A*, and I'll crawl my way back to Colonia before returning to the core worlds.

I would rather put a volkswagon beetle size hole in someones power core than just melt some of it with the plasma accelerator.

man, now i really want them to make some larger ones then.... I wana shoot imperial eagles at people from a spinal mounted rail gun ..... HAHA!
or maybe something more blocky, like a diamondback scout.... it'd prolly fit better inside the three prongs of these rail gun designs.
Given how a rail gun works, three prongs seems oddly out of place. unless each prong had two untouching polarities so the current didn't jump the rail... that might work. still, it'd be weird. having more than 2 rails, for the rail gun.... lol!

Though, MAC Canons had their own space stations and were the size of an Anaconda so... Where are our MAC Canons?!

HarlreyCan you imagine what a huge railgun would do to your own ship? It could cause a blackout on a 8A power plant while instantly raising your heat levels by 200%. It seems to me that a railgun bigger than medium would be too unwieldy to be usefull.
But you have to admit that such a thing would be super sexy though. Imagine Donnager sized railguns but fixed.
