XenizMarcus FranconiumMugpie CampbellTyrran AndorWilliam, there is no loadout that the AI can equip that we players cannot. (...)
I'd like to point out that some NPCs do actually cheat, as proven a few times though youtube footage (PA being fired more frequently than it is possible on player ships due to thermal overload). There was even a case in which someone realized that NPCs seem to have a slight gimbal assist onto fixed 'heavy' weaponry, such as PA or Railguns.
The same for thrusters and powerplant you kill them to 0% and some how their shields go up and keep firing and manoeuvre .
The hit my generator of thrusters and iam dead in the water.
NPCs that I shoot out Drives on do go through a marked Reboot/Repair sequence from what I've seen. I've never seen them recover from a zeroed out PP.
Several time i have had this problem and anacondas are the most notorious with this feature. they keep moving and firing.
Fas, dropships, gunships all have these problems .

Ive been practicing all fixed weaponary, and have noticed the slight micro gimble on mine. I've also noticed it's a bit more pronounced when targeting a subsystem

I don't know if I dare to say in front of more experienced players, but the micro gimbal effect is in the manual I think - I knew about it and i am pretty sure that's where I read it. It is unaffected by chaff I seem to recall

I have no words to describe this.
Probably not safe to do a FSD boost.

Yes, the powerplant thing is probably one of the most irritating long-term bugs. You can still kill a ship by shooting the plant past zero a random number of times, but it doesn't power them down like it should. Shooting out drives should stop them though until they reboot.

Which is quite unfortunate, considering you could do it in the past and take lovely pictures of the NPC paintjobs we're never going to get for our ships.

I tried several times and the Fsd synthesis boost fails as the neutron star boost over writes it.
How ever the Guardian booster does work and you get 4x the range.

How exactly would one find it again?
Flying around blindly?
Maybe some prayer?
Got lucky and found the right station in a system that sounded like it was a familiarly recented name.... hahaha!!

WilliamReaceso, if one had to log out, and can not remember where the remaining part of a transport task which did not fully fit inside ones cargo hold from the first trip.... having logged out and thus losing ones trail of recent flight paths, also having not written where said task originated from....

You raise a good issue here - I recently had the same problem and was surprised that the game does not give you that information anywhere! I would've thought it would be in the mission description - seems the logical place to look - but no!
Have you raised this on Frontier's Suggestions forum? Happy to give you a back-up post if you have / are going to.

ArtieMeanwhile (if it was correctly written into the journal file), you can find the mission details including origin station here on Inara, too.
Seek and Ye Shall Find!
And thus our questions were answered.
hahaha! Thanks Artie, I've never actually looked at the log there, because I didn't know it recorded that, let alone that it updated to Inara when one imports their journal.
It's always been off when it comes to the credits/assets and reputations percentage when I import my log file.

Thank you, I never knew this either
