GUTI'm looking forward to seeing the mining changes. I haven't actually done any mining as yet, as when I heard some time ago about the potential revamp, I decided to hold fire.
Fingers crossed that the changes will be good.

You two obviously don't know the meaning of the word. The word your thinking of is not the same, get a dictionary or do what young people do and Google it, either way get a vocabulary.

Venerable roleThough if I was venerable with a venereal disease, then antibiotics may help provided my my old aged immune system wasn't weakened so bad that antibodies wouldn't work as efficiently. REALLY? I am not paid to teach English, I hated English classes.
I think they were just trying to be humorous, using a play on two similar sounding words. Don't take it personally.

You two obviously don't know the meaning of the word. The word your thinking of is not the same, get a dictionary or do what young people do and Google it, either way get a vocabulary.

Yup! Krait Phantom has my eye along with the Exploration and Mining changes. Super happy those play styles are getting some love. Hear rumors about the Panther Clipper, as always, so looking forward to the inevitable posts about shieldless PCs getting blown up.

Meanwhile what I want is more Light ships, cause that class doesn't get enough love. I really want competition for "cheap" Vipers or response to pretty unique Imperial Courier. I would also see nothing wrong in e.g. Sidewinder Mk II that would be a middle ground between Sidewinder Mk I and Cobra Mk III.
And, for God's sake, unlock Cobra Mk IV. It's been two years already and NPCs rubbing the ship you can't fly into your face is wrong, even if meant as exclusive. I'd love to see it as unlockable for any Elite rank or/and access obtained like Alliance system permits.

Meanwhile what I want is more Light ships, cause that class doesn't get enough love.
When I first heard about the fighter bay thing, I was thinking they meant to make it so the small ships like the eagle and viper and such could be launched from the large ones, you'd fit them how you wanted and let the "ai" take over or use it yourself.
Of course that isn't what we got, but what we got is still fun.

Three weeks until we know, unless they hold back a surprise. On the 8th is the livestream about the new ships. If the Panther rumors are true, I'll be happy. I hate it when a multirole is king of cargo without any drawbacks and not a freighter.
For the discussions about the community, other stuff related to the game like astrophysics and so on please use the General talk thread.
