ApexWandererWhy is it so difficult to find pictures that are the right size for my wing ?.
500x150 jpg??am I doing something wrong?

Size is right for the banner on top of your page.
Try a PNG with a transparent background and put it over one of the stock images.
Check the DPI (dots per inch) of your graphics too. May need a good bitmap editing tool to help do things.

The only problem with Cobra Mk IV is the fact that ship is not available to the rest of the players.

You don't know how cheated upon I felt when I realized that ship is available to very few players players back in 2016 -- after week of searching back in December 2017 when I got ED pack with Horizons and it bluntly screamed "try new ships such as Cobra Mk IV".

Especially after seeing the Horizons trailer, which pretty much features Mk IV for a longer time in the trailer.

I'm in the lucky position of being a MK IV owner. I'd be happy if FD made it available for everyone.

May I just ask for a little clarification, please? Are you thinking that commanders are flying with FA Off all the time? There are a very few commanders who do, but almost everyone uses FA Off only when they need to perform a tight turn, such as is frequently needed in combat. If I've misunderstood you, then I apologise.

practice practice practice, like I said before, as human's we are not accustomed to 0-G in normal, everyday, stuck on planet earth life.
But learning to fly without FA will be a great help towards improving your piloting skills and enabling you to accomplish more.

Ah sorry i ment to say mk iii ,my mistake. the mk iv is more like a python but cobra sized.

On an other not any one noticed in the new beta ship names are no longer presented in the cockpit.
Its a bit anoying as i flys different versions of a ship and the name in the top right corner keeps me from doing stupid stuff .
when not flying for a few weeks.

it was one of the things in early premium betas and alphas i think to land as fast as possible with silent running sidewinder in to a station. with out Flight assist

I have a "no ship in my fleet twice" rule for that. So I can remember what I'm flying by ship type.

That would be an option how ever iam not one for changing good ships that do their role perfectly, as they are condas are one example why bother with all the new crap ships. if the mighty conda can do it all. the same for pythons , cobras DBX Aspx . perfect for all types of roles .

BrixmisGuys & Gals, how do I get my ship and its name to appear on my INARA sig? It's cleared in the preferences, but is missing on the sig.


Set your preferred ship as a main - via the ship edit or via the small "M" button in the fleet listing.

Notice my avatar? I filled in the beard bit so no-one here would make the assumption that I was a female - I like to use a female holo in game, though.

I dunno, but when I'm out on a long, perhaps tedious part of a voyage or exploration trip, I can always give myself a little pick-me-up by simply looking down at my chest....

Was wondering if other commanders do the same?
