I play the same way with a Xbox360 controller and Voice Attack but I been out Exploring so I try not to die or I loose all my data I collected.

Nip NipPlease note that you can assign chaff and shield cell banks to a specific button or button combination independent of fire groups. For example me as a PC player using an Xbox 360 controller, I have chaff bound to the Back button, and SCBs to the B + Back combination. These work regardless of your main fire groups, so you can have weapons on primary and secondary triggers, but the chaff and SCBs on other buttons.
Thanks for the reply, in the xbox elite game options you cant assign any of these buttons to the controller. the more i play the easier it gets

Stoornishello, how to change my allegiance & my power in my Cmdr's log ? thank you !
You click on your name to bring up your profile. Then go to rank and achievements. From there you will have achievements at top of the box under that you have Preferred Alliance. Click on that and in the second box you click on the one you want and that should change it. As for the powers its the same way but instead of Preferred Alliance its Preferred Powers.

Elyssia FieldsI am a fairly new player and play using Mouse & Keyboard and seem to get by ok. I tried using a HOTAS but found it harder to target fixed weapons with it, so I'll stick with the good old M&K for now.
Quite understandable. You learned on a fixed system, KBAM, and went to a flexible system. With the HOTAS you need to train it to do what you want and believe me it will out perform the KBAM but there is some effort involved.

Totally agree but how will Frontier know who is actually a Fuel Rat to give them out? It's totally voluntary so anyone could say they're a Fuel Rat.

That part would be on the Fuel Rats. It behooves any organization to keep ardent track of its members.

I agree but I have an idea the Fuel Rat could offer a validation photo or the Frontier give a code to the person in charge of the dispatching and that person could give the code out to the Fuel Rats when they send out the pilot for the fuel up.

Some sort of control has to be done to keep a GRIEFER from "earning" the S&R skin just for the perverse thrill of becoming more infamous than ItchyNipples.
