Stock perple is cool. I just need to paint my toon hair pink with green beard and all is set

I wonder if they're considering adding the Gecko in with a new form at somepoint?

It was similar to the classic sidewinder, if I remember right, that it didn't have a hyperdrive in the original elite. Hell, even the Mamba and Krait lacked hyperdrives - originally they were both small one-seater fighters - and their modern versions are very different to the originals.

And what happened to the Boa Cruiser? That thing was designed to replace the Python.

I would like to know if a NPC pilot, on a figther, can "protect" the main ship when an enemy shows up. Or are they not meant for this kind of job?

They can, there is a whole list of commands you can give your hired hand

I did! I didn’t do my research up front, though, and missed two bases (BAD Explorer!), but I managed to find a whole bunch of undiscovered systems which now have the Glystra Dirty Fingerprint of Approval.

I came across a lone Sidewinder out there too, but the Cmdr was not very communicative. Not on Inara, either.

Will post a couple of pics today.

I came across a lone Sidewinder out there too, but the Cmdr was not very communicative. Not on Inara, either.

I didn't see one person on my open 6000 LY trip. Although I admit I was going for speed and time, rather than exploration. Glad you enjoyed the trip. I'll definitely hop a ride on the next expedition. Bossy old man Epi asked me to mine for him though and I suppose I'll do that on the next login. Look forward to the pics.

Mine for him? Well, in fairness, he’s probably still smarting about your abuse of his plumbing facilities I got a free ride, although I did offer compensation.

What comes around, though, goes around, and kindness always gets rewarded.
