Does the power distributor still determine the charge rate and/or max capacity for the engines in this case? Or does it only determine max capacity?

IomhariSo I'm curious what the effect of the power distributor is when it's turned off? I'm still recharging engine power and able to boost with it off, is this a bug or is this correct functionality?

I think PD off results in balanced distribution, i.e. two pips everywhere.

I thought it meant you only have access to the power remaining in the capacitor. Once it's gone you're FUBAR.

EizoeOn the topic of the Imperial CG. First time I ever participated in a CG before and I decided to help run supplies for the Empire. Ran somewhere over a total of 10-11k for the good cause. Shame because I only joined in the last 30 hours. I have a feeling Federation has more supporters (albeit lazier and non committed ones) because the federation is the closest to our modern day western society in terms of government and overall society/culture. Thus everyone *especially the new players) who completely ignore the lore probably dive straight into Fed thinking "it's the right choice" when if they read the lore then maybe, just maybe, some of those folk would actually find themselves residing within the Empire or even the godforsaken Alliance. Definitely seems like the Empire has the strongest followers but the least amount of followers. Such an absolute shame because we can truly be an absolute powerhouse to the galaxy.
An absolute powerhouse would be destroyed from within after a short period of time anyways. Good to see someone reads the lore or has watched the videos from Drew Wagar (soon to be posted in Elite:Dangerous lore board).
