Sir Sprocketto7 Commanders.

Quick question, is there anywhere on INARA or any of the other 3rd party databases that lets me know what system permits I have?

You can view your current system permits from in-game, Commander.
Open your Internals Panel (Right panel), and go to your Status tab. All the way at the bottom is your list of permits.

Additionally I don't believe system permits can be viewed from INARA, though I'm not very knowledgable on that subject- I'm super green to this site. If someone else might know better than I please correct me!

presently trying to rep up with Alioth Independence to get to Engineer Bill. this part is rather easy, only will have problem with the minerals he wanted.

is there any other way to obtain that mineral besides mining for them?

Nostalgia. I've bought a new Sidewinder and I'm noticing silly details like the tiny cockpit, the medkit, the duct-taped dashboard, the CO2 fire extinguisher with electrical tape around it, the lunchbox, the briefcase on the floor, the cut on the right side dashboard, stuff like that.

Sometimes you can get engineering materials or minerals as a reward for Missions. If you're looking for minerals and not just whole tonnes of ores, I recommend searching planets with an SRV and destroying marked rocks; they'll have a signal marker.

met Bill at last.
didnt mine, was able to buy off from a carrier at 60k per T.

now have 2x medium PA maxed.

back to farming to stock up for future use.

The Orca is my go to ship, the issue with this build is the hard point placements. Those rail guns are under the ship are put a little back into the frame. you'd be better off with two busts and one rail.
