KobatoOne thing that kind of amuses me a little every time I go do stuff out of Jameson Memorial, is I look under Social/Local, and it almost always looks like this:

Spud_I personally have had contact with two folks from Ryders of the Void and and am very pleased to have met them. Good folks.


Amazing group of guys and gals. Glad I joined them for sure.

Here's the thing. Ryders are involved in over 30 systems BGS wise. I don't believe we're patrolling all Ryder controlled space like the avengers.


You don't need to patrol all of them - you know where the ganks are happening!

If you're a BGS focused group and not a PvP group, that's fair enough, I can understand why you're not doing much about it.

All it takes to prevent is one click.

I want to know what kinds of factors people consider when selecting a home station/system.

My first was 59 Virginis (good res, good proximity in the bubble) and recently it's been Cailla (close to a res spot I like hitting, also good bubble location, <100ls from jump spot).

Anybody wanna share their faves and rationale?


Lamarck Orbital in Nanabohzo System, time ago i used to discuss evolution theories and much preferred those of Lamarck than Darwin s, because of that i became the black sheep in my friend s group.

The first HT station i encountered after exiting initial zone was Lamarck Orbital, i took it as a funny coincidence and loved it.

Haven't seen this pirate, calling him self 'Naak', before yesterday in LHS 206. This wasn't the first time I had to use the escape pod...but for a greiver, he was untimely and I was hoping you haven't crossed his path, but if you have, quickly DM me his full name, ship ID and maybe post here even, I don't care..I just want my dignity back..he had used 'verded' pulse weapons to overtake my T9..with no warning...if he shows up in front of my Python, he will be Astrogennically secured for you and the rest of his victims . . Keep safe CMDRs...

For quite a while it's been Cernan Dock in GCRV 1568, mainly because of the mining, and I've been hanging around there so much that I maxed rep with all the factions, so I always get good missions.



Currently Cubeo for powerplay reasons. Have had a couple of others previously and may move to Jameson when I finally get my first Elite. Fairly new to powerplay but fascinated by its mechanics.

Anyone looking for an Xbox anarchy squad? GLOB (Star Glob) supports the Bolg Rats. Newly established - working on a Carrier now.

Prime example why using third party auth service sux. I can login on Epic with browser but when I try to login from my client I get service is temporary unavailable. Hence, ED may be online but due to issues in Epic infrastructure I cannot play. Same goes with Steam when their infrastructure fails.

Consoles seems to be the last bastion of direct connection to the ED servers, eh?

Is there not a standalone version on PC that excludes third party launcher use?

There is but this is not shown on https://www.elitedangerous.com/buy/
The option to buy from https://www.frontierstore.net/ is well hidden. But this change nothing, not sure why this is made, perhaps it is some retailer agreement but it is very rubbish. So if you buy elite on epic or steam but decide to part with them - you loose your elite account too? It is probably somewhere in ToS of those platform but this do not make it more fair for the end customer.

Systems, stations, and pirates so desperately want Silver from Gurojas so frequently that I'm tempted to ask Frontier to instate Gurojas Silver as a rare commodity lol
