I'm new to INARA but not ED. 1500 hrs and counting overall love the game. I have just experienced a conundrum. Had to log off in a hurry and the only dock near was a carrier. Two days later im 1500 ly from anywhere and no way back. All carriers show no departure times. what to do now?
Any help would be appreciated.

A question I have is, why did you feel it necessary to dock somewhere? When I've been far out exploring & needed to log out, I found some place in a system, & simply logged out. Upon returning later, I logged back in & returned to the same place, no problems.
That's the problem with carriers which aren't yours, or at least, one that isn't a friend's or one of your squadron members.
Perhaps, try to see if you can find something to keep you busy for a while, & try to contact another carrier & see if they might be passing by anytime soon?
I'm guessing, any system is too far away to jump?

I can jump and get you given you message me back in the next 20-30 min .... it is 6 jumps AKA 2h 30 min and it is already 10:00 pm here.

If the carrier has outfitting enabled you might be able to purchase a Fuel Scoop and limp your way back. If it has a Shipyard you could transfer your high jump capable ship to the carrier and fly back, or maybe purchase a Sidewinder, suicide in it, and take the free Sidewinder option to reappear back in the bubble. You'll need to transfer your trapped ship back to the bubble ofc.
You might be able to contact the Carrier owner on the Carrier Owners Club Discord here. or see if there's another coming back in your area that you could make arrangements with.

TousaakSorry I've not got back sooner. Its 1:30 pm here and i am working in my shop at the moment just took break for lunch. I appreciate all the info and offers for help but wont be able to get back on till later today. I will try the advice first and if that fails I will reach out again.

Just Send me a message here on INARA, I have to go to work but will be home by 10PM looks like we are in the same time zone so if you still need help tonight when I get back I will move out to wherever you are, and park my carrier there. Then you PM me asap once your on board

Matt87Hello..not sure if anyone is on atm. But I could use some help if anyone can.. I'm leaving a planet and when I go into supercruise it gets stuck in the animation.. I've tried restarting. Shutting xbox down. Idk what else to do.. Any advise is greatly appreciated. Thank you
This has happened to me several times. I am a PC user. What I did? I exited to desktop and when I logged back in I was landed on the planet I was trying to leave. All times but one I was able to leave the planet after re-log.

SOLUTION: GET ON A CARRIER THAT CAN SELL YOU A SMALL SHIP WITH ENOUGH FSD RANGE TO GET YOU HOME...JUMP JUMP JUMP IN TINY SHIP TILL YOU GET HOME...THEN DO A TRANSFER OF THE SHIP TO YOUR HOME ...DISPOSE OF TINY SHIP.

and make loads of discoveries on the way back, be in awe of the true size of the galaxy, be the 1st to see and then make tonnes of dosh selling the data back in the bubble, also gain reputation....
