I personally do not see why I should beware of someone who escape interaction with menu/combat log. This cannot actually harm me anyway.

you should try jumping into a system and having engaged in the circle of death with a krait who thought my corvette was a mining corvette except when i finally caught him with interdictor by the time i dropped him from supercruise only my ship showed on grid. So the guy is in the business of GoL aka( Gank or Logg ) his gameplay does not affect mine whatsoever other than the nuisance of having to recharge my fsd to keep going. When a person logs because of combat and not wanting to lose a ship, the shame is not on the guy that's sitting there waiting for the action, its on the logger who now looks at his main menu knowing that he is a sack of shit and a loser who is so bad at digital spaceships that he rather cause damage to his PC by randomly unplugging than play the game through and lose like a champ.
This is also a very simple thing to fix if you ask me...implement a "combat timer" even when server or peer loses connection.

YOU KNOW!!! One of me favorite gameplays goes as follow: spend a month or so out of the bubble exploring, doing mining, jumping the carrier filling it with trader/miner treasures... then head to bubble with full carrier and sell everything at prices everyone can make money, that way newbies get a break, and old school opportunistic haulers do their sneaky stuff. It is (at least for me) fun to watch the people flock to my carrier because musgravite is 10% under gal avg or some BS like that or go like half ways trough an off the path way to sag A and set tritium at bubble prices. watch the system fill up with carriers and 20k tritium gone by the next time i login. So do i enjoy the occasional hunting and even outnumbered fight where i blow up in pieces?...YES you bet your ass I DO. But the pride of a pilot is to go down with his ship. As such I have made more friends by blowing them up or being blown up by them than by combat login. I is it a viable solution for people flying things they cant afford to lose more than once?, bet your behind it is. Not for me thou..i like every aspect of the game...even when i have to send a mail saying...well played sir , well played indeed.

Cephyso i find two overlapping hotspots the kind that looks like a single circle but its two, 1 grandidirite 1 tritium am talking complete overlap, what do i think? hmmm maybe at least the grandidirite might reinforce a little the trit one and maybe i find a core or two of grand...well after 30 minutes i had,60 units of tritium, and the only core i found was an opal one...so im like hmm maybe the ring is opal rich just naturally, what do i do? i go to the part of the belt where there is a void opal hotspot , reallynice size...im pumped..after spending i dont know maybe an hour, i have another 50 tritium, and a good 14 musgravite units from the only core i have found...is it me or the hotspots are pretty much completely useless unless you are mining tritium? they have no logic...i dont care if the whole spot has 1 rock of the actual kind the hotspot is but when im getting all kinds of other things where im supposed to be abundant ina certain ore...it just makes me wonder .. WTF.
For core mining, hotspots only increase the likelihood a particular core will contain that mineral. It doesn't effect the number of cores nor their payout once cracked. They aren't that big a deal in this case.
For laser mining, hotspots increase the number of asteroids that contain the mineral as well as its concentration and payout. While this effect of overlaps was nerfed recently they are still worth using.

No sir, I do not believe you do. Your sample size of 'one roid at each of two hotspots' is not large enough to whine about if you did.
