How is 154t Musgravite in 80min? (Those cores look different than the one in ice rings)
Well done! What're you mining with?

Sir SprockettWell Commanders,
with just 5 hours hopping system to system to system with only one iffy moment, in amongst a collection of T stars. I checked my system map and it had included all the non fuel stars on my route. I FSD boosted my range (lucky I did) and jumped to the nearest fuel star. I worked out I was one jump short of being the muppet with out fuel!
Otherwise i have been travelling pretty much a already worn path of explorers, not one undiscovered system to claim as mine. I am not too disappointed as all I only want is one. I do hope that maybe in the future that we as ED members get 1 star system named after us! I am not too down about this as I am now heading into the Galaxy core with its many many wonderous number of stars...
- just 1 system...
I am now nestled up at the Omega Sector, have only got 389 more jumps left to go. Still 6 days on the mission timer. All is good. Time to go and have that extravagant bath I promised myself, and then a good feed with a healthy stretch around this Asteroid station.
I am also wondering if there are any other pits stops between the Omega Sector and Tir? Some where around the 5000 light year mark?

Sir SprockettEpisparhOh, spontaneous journey to Colonia.
You are fine on jump range - last time I went there with a cutter with less than 40ly jump range.
Neutron plotter is your friend.
Effie TrinketHappy trails, Sir Sprocket. o7
Ahh thanks.. Well I am good way to reaching Omega Mining outpost, having the top fuel scoop really makes a difference. Have just discovered my first Water world, and am currently eating my porridge while scanning the world.
When I first received my pilots license, and the possibility that it comes with, it put a fundamental fear within me but at the same time a deep urge to explore, discover and push back the primal fears that make us human. Such is the dichotomy of life!
Synthya WylderQuestion, do all Materials Traders work the same way, have the same trading ratios & result in the same amounts?
Unlike the various commodoties markets which fluctuate according to location, trading & other pressures.
Thanks!

The Material Traders do all behave the same way. The trades between different grades and categories cost or give more, but use the same ratio every time. The only weird thing about the Traders is that there are 3 different ones: Encoded, Manufactured, and Raw material traders so you cannot convert one type to another.
Grecale80Greetings and good evening Cmdr How are you?
I have a question, especially for Commanders skilled with PvP.
I'm more oriented with exploration, pve, and bounty hunting , but i need to learn from pilots better than me how to survive from possible enemies out there; so i ask you: against modules is better railgun with super penetrator, or cannon with high yeld shell?
Thx in advance to any Cmdr. that will reply
Sir SprockettWell that advise was good, I was awake early this morning so made a V line route to my next destination, and 32 jumps later, 32 systems discovered, teaming with planets. Joy! Though this excitement of discovery is going to delay my journey to deliver my mission. So I am gonna have to jump 10 systems scan the 11th or something like that...
I can see how easily the "Rabbit Hole effect" has in discovering and exploring... this game hey, this game

Google the Gank Evasion Academy and get onto their Discord. You'll find a great bunch PvP specialists ready to help!
Episparh@Grecale80, you do not need any weapons to survive a PvP encounter. Armament is needed only if you plan to fight back, but then less experienced player will most likely die even with better equipped ship.

i don't want fight unless someone force me to defend myself
SmalooAnd why is the docking module so big when a VW Golf can park itself?

Then you need only protection and speed/agility your build can afford.
For exploration builds this usually means sacrifice of few ly jump range in favor of better shield, engines and power distributor which will allow frequent boosts.
Same goes for traders/miners a sacrifice of some jump range and lower capacity cargo racks for more shield, hull, module protection.
PvE combat builds should be tough enough.
If you play on PC in open just enable bandwidth monitor (ctrl+B) and constantly check your radar readings or coms panel. Knowing that there are potential hostile is half evasion done. The other part you can find in this famous video:
