there is a rerun of his programs on UK tv at the moment so a new generation has a chance to see a real legend
he was a mainstay of PBS when i was hippyfied


I must look for this, I haven't watched him since way back when. Coincidentally, clearing my garage loft over the holidays, I found all my old oils and brushes, not that I was ever any good.

I never took pics of the names...but i tell you there is all sorts of funny ones, and some of them are funny in Spanish, and Portuguese...is f-ing hilarious...when im back in the bubble ill be on the lookout for them names.

listen man, nobody else on this planet could get a teenager and hook him into painting like Bob Ross did. Just the guy talking while he painted was soothing. and it just made you want to do it to kids, teens adults. I dont know of anyone who hated Bob.

Hello fellow Commanders!!
I'm pretty new, but already loving the game! I've built up a decent amount of credits just being a courier and defending myself against bounties. I was thinking about buying a few different ships and trying everything out!! I'll still be able to keep them when I leave the starting area right?

I'm thinking about just heading out on my own now!

Yes, you will be able to keep your ships but you will need to transfer them to a different station with a shipyard for a small fee. It is a service , you pay , then wait your ships to arrive.

and always remeber to never fly anything you cant afford to lose at least 3-4 times over

Try to launch Elite: Dangerous instead of Horizon.

In what mode (Open, PG or Solo) are you playing? Due to the P2P connection method, that might cause game issues.

You may want to go Solo or PG mode, because it puts lesser strain on your connection that Open. You also should check your internet connection and ISP, because I know players who are barred from Open despite high connection speeds, just because for some reason ping skyrockets and/or packet loss goes bonkers in that mode. "Some reason", because sometimes other games seem to have no issues at all and it can be anything. Especially now, when some city net infrastructures might not be prepared for strains during pandemic.

Happens a lot to console peeps. It used to happen to me when I jumped into a system that was riddled with fleet carriers. The game will freeze, and you'll get stuck in supercruise. Keep trying. I usually just waited a few hours if I didn't get it within 10 minutes or so. Restarting won't usually help.

This is known bug.  Orange Sidewinder is the message you get when you're kicked right?  Typically happens in systems with a lot of carriers or with one that a carrier has entered in the last hour.  If closing out completely and trying again is failing (changing mode doesn't seem to help) you can hyperjump to another system to break free of the bug.

Edit: if you do hyperjump out and the server is really pooched you'll crash with Krait error of some colour iirc. You'll appear in the destination system when you return no worse the wear.
