Had no clue it was an exclusive ship. I checked just now and I do have it. Don't think I'm a fan of exclusive ships based on the time of preordering something.

Crossplay, along with updated versions for the new generation of console is not currently planned according the one of the AMA topics recently.

I'm torn by that comment, because everybody hates the MkIV Cobra, and FDEV knows it. I would also assume that they know a lot of people want crossplay. But FDEV has done a lot of half-assed things and have made just outright confusing decisions, so...

Knowing them from past, they probably *would* give us the MkIV before crossplay.

From my experience they value "the simulation" more than gameplay and also don't seem to realize the difference between a product and a project.

Silver TafferMy understanding is that Microsoft and Sony are the obstacle to cross play, not FDev. My understanding of coding is nil but I read somewhere it requires some of the console companies’ source code to enable cross play, and neither are willing to cooperate.
This is on Fdev.
There are already a plethora of games that are cross-play between PC, Xbox, and PS.
