SakashiroTengri UmaiIf you think Vette is flying like a whale you just don't know what are you talking about.
This is what I'm talking about:
Or this:
Note how the pilot keeps his small ship above, below, or behind the Corvette pretty much all the time. Note how all the Corvette's forward facing weapons fail to get him into their line of fire. Guess which weapon on the Corvette is the only one managing to hit the small ship? It's the garbage turret!
So that's what I'm talking about. Now I'd like to know what you're talking about, but you're keeping your fleet details hidden. Maybe you did manage to build a nimble Corvette without turrets, but I'm not going to take your word for it.
Sorry for the late response. Was busy with RL. Let's just test it in the field. Take any light ship you want against my Corvette.

Did this with Epi already. With engineered drives they're actually not bad. Staying out of the front facing weapons' line of fire was difficult. It might work for a better pilot with a Courier that's lighter than mine, but not for me.

Sakashiro Dude, just show up with your rail gun and interdict me already.
Oh don't worry, it's on my agenda.

OlderStoneOnce I have plotted a course to a destination, is there someplace I can see the route listed?
I'd like to be able to easily identify if a the location of a mission is something that's already on my way.
Yip, in Inara go to Commander then Personal and then flight log.
I may have misunderstood your question initially, you want to see the future jumps you have planned? In that case again go to the map after plotting the destination and you will notice an icon for where you have stored missions.

On the question:
Planned route is displayed in GalMap with solid and dashed yellow line. Accepted missions' locations are shown on GalMap as well with a blue icon.

On PC, in addition to seeing the path as a line in the Galmap, as well as mission systems (if toggled on in Galmap settings), there is also a third party program that allows much deeper analysis of your route including a text list of the stops and their contents if known.

Amata LireinThat being said: I really would like some additional tools for the map. Like the ability to triangulate something by marking 3 systems and adding the respective distances needed, and then it highlights all systems that fit the bill (think of something like the listening posts and the abandoned generational ships). I don't know, maybe as an additional Class 1 utility module?
I would like that too. I have tried to do it with EDSM for some weird reason I have to keep re logging onto it.

Yeah that'd be interesting. You can do this possibly using EDSM coordinates? I haven't but theoretically the math seems doable...

Question: Does damage by phasing sequence count as thermal or absolute damage? Can it be countered by increasing the hull's thermal resistance?

Question: Does damage by phasing sequence count as thermal or absolute damage? Can it be countered by increasing the hull's thermal resistance?
o7
an example: a plasma accelerator deals 60% adsolute, 20% thermal and 20% kinetic damage.
10% of the weapon damage phases through the shield. while the absolut part of the damage kicks in completeley, for the thermal and kinetik damage the regarding hull resistance have to be taken into account.

So it depends on the type of weapon that the phasing sequence effect is applied to, e.g. phasing sequence hull damage from a laser should be 100% thermal. That makes sense.
Thanks!
