Zack CountlerHello universe? Is anyone listening out in the deep black?
If you are, then I have a question for you. What will go wrong with the Galactic Summit? Who will betray who? Will anyone be blown up? Will the Thargoids attack?

I'm with you, Zack. No way that summit finishes without some crisis (or crises) popping up.

Oh there's no doubt in my mind it's gonna go completely pear-shaped. Obvious trope is obvious. The good ol' "peace meeting but everything goes horribly wrong" thing is overplayed but that won't stop FDev!

QuillmonkeySo, my journey into pirating has its good news and bad news.

Good news - I've figured out bump stopping. Still takes me half an hour to stop a type-7 but at least I don't die now.
Bad news - despite following all the advice online and finding the right kind of system (anarchy, large population, ringed planets, agricultural \ industrial economy) I've only managed to successfully pirate
  • 20t LTD
  • 40t fruit and veg
  • 20t uranite
  • 110t wine
  • 8t narcotics
  • 10t election pamphlets

Not the toughest crew of buccaneers you might have come across.

RickchapHello Commanders!

Did the technology broker system get changed or am I just not visiting the right brokers? I can not trade for materials as I did 1-2 weeks ago. I see that they help with "unlockable items " now ... whats up man

I think you meant material traders to trade your materials and tech brokers to buy your alien and human tech? They are two different things

There is a pirate out there...A very mean one, he keeps getting banned on inara for his/hers/it's aggressive behavior, but i was checking his videos. ive seen this guy fighting 3 cutters 2 corvettes on his solo corvette, kill one of the vettes and scare enough the cutters to warp out at 15% hull. Also, tech brokers are for guardian weapons unlocks, materials traders are easy ways to NOT HAVE TO GRIND EVERY MATERIAL... there are different types, raw, manufactured, data...they are all needed for engineering...each has 5 tiers of elements basically for the 5 tiers of engineering you have for most things ( still waiting on lvl5 heat sink ammo engineering) These material traders come in handy my friend when you find a specific place that lets say gives you missions who happen to repeatedly pay in biotech conductors and the such and they allow you to trade for every other material of their type, thus easying the burden of material grind....your tech broker is the guy you bring bluprints to for your guardian weapons.

See, Cephy, you can be helpful when you try... you don't have to come out with all the daft rants and get yourself booted out again and again.

Word of advice, Cephy: If you want to sockpuppet, please ensure you have the ability to change up your writing style so it isn't immedately obvious who you are.

thanks all of you,. I finally found what I needed. I just haven't got to the brokering yet. I am finding a lot of high grade manufacturing materials doing missions out of Robigo.
fly happy commanders!

Another new account?

I wonder how long this one will last Cephy?

Perhaps if you play nice...
23 Feb 2021, 9:47am
Not for long, the only option is to stay really low-profile.
23 Feb 2021, 10:08am
Not a very good pirate, clearly.

Oh, so some lines were crossed without any remorse and acknowledgment of the error.

... I wonder how long it takes to implement isCephy() routine applied to account sync.

Well that's just plain crappy pirating. Killing and scaring off leaves no cargo to rob and no profit to make, utterly pointless. I'd say my scoring fruit and veg was better pirating than that and I didn't kill no damn ass vettes.

Nominated for the astroturfing award.

Btw, I saw a woman on Inara, she's an awesome pilot flying an Imperial Courier... oh wait, wrong account.
