Not cool at all.

They've done this for the other two new ships, and released them after two months of ARX-only. Honestly not too bad of a trade; we get new ships and FDev sees that Elite is worth devoting developers to. Two months is nothing compared to the 5-year period of no new ships.

I was hoping to take it out for a spin by joining a FC expedition to the arse end of the galaxy.
2 months is a long time. It's a bit longer I have been playing ED. Honestly cant imagine 2 more months of it. Can't think of anything to do in the game for that long.

I understand the annoyance with delays, but it's good they're making a better product; especially with how long the game has been around.

As far as your boredom, I suspect you want easy and convenient distraction. This game may not have that for you. That said, here's a list (in no particular order) you can give a try to:
  • Reach Elite rank in two or more areas.
  • Unlock all the engineers in the game to Grade 5
  • Collect every ship in the game
  • Buy a Fleet Carrier
  • Try PVP combat in Open
  • Try PVP combat in CQC (Be warned: It's a steep learning curve and skill gap between regulars and new players.)
  • Try AX combat in an AXCZ (Another steep learning curve, but a great community and resources for learning and improving.)
  • Try AX combat Solo (with no NPCs either)
  • Find and complete long multi-system trade runs
  • Passenger missions
  • Assassination missions (Space)
  • Unlock ground engineers and upgrade suits/gear
  • Try ground CZs Solo
  • Try ground CZs in Open
  • Complete multiple Restore missions (on ground) (You'll need to do this anyhow, if doing the engineer unlock.)
  • Complete Settlement Defense missions (ground)
  • Try ground Covert missions (there are multiple types)
  • Make your own list

For what it's worth. This is for you, so don't feel you should report back or give status updates on this list. I just want everyone here to enjoy the game and I see a lot of options in it. My list here is not nearly exhaustive and I certainly don't care if anyone can/should/will complete it. I play mostly Solo for a reason.

Did INARA run out of FD influencers?

Alternatively you can enrich yourself on the games lore and history and maybe go visit some of the more well known historical sites

Why would I want that? That would be complete waste of time and even more boring.

Nice list, BTW Thanks. I have done some stuff from it. Some landed me in prison for several times. LOL.

I only play it because at the moment I have to spend hours in front of a screen and weather is mostly crap. I was reading before but wanted a change. So, I thought, lets try a PC game because I have never cared for this stuff. Yes, graphics are surprisingly nice.

Halloween setup? I think so.

(Not been in the game to see if anything’s appeared around this system, yet, but I don’t think so - this tends to occur more on Thursdays or update days.)

Oh, nice! Anybody gallivanting around Frenis and doing a little search these days?

According to reports on Discord I'm seeing, it is actually something that is in the game and can be completed for some rewards - going to investigate for myself now... with my carrier because I'm out in the Coalsack nebula and lazy.

So, okay, here's an AX challenge thing from me. As follows: be able to destroy [insert Interceptor variant here, the stronger the better, ofc] being so badly drunk and depressed that even going to your own friggin bathroom is a challenge of its own and you can't even sit straight.

Currently, it's a Medusa for me because hecks those Guardian guns lack ammo capacity to go through an entire AXCZ and I don't want to grind those synth mats. But I might try a Hydra via NHSS while I'm conscious.

Take command of KMKII with 4 AXMC and 2D beam all gimballed then go to AXZ Low. Keep Medusa to the end of the battle and then finish it after you kill around 40-50 scouts and 1 cyclops or basilisk. Do not engage interceptors before scouts stop spawning and you kill them all otherwise interceptor(s) re-spawn and it takes much more ammunition to finish them vs. scouts. I took down 47 Medusas that way all solo. Good luck.

That was awesome advice for those who are still on their learning curve, yet to reach that 'kill any Interceptor at any time imaginable', and have to rely on NPCs or AXCZ spawn mechanics. No worries, you'll get there eventually. Now, for those who are really up to the challenge, and ready to drink so much that you can't even see your aiming circle...

Are you taking about yourself? I don't think so. Though you don't have KMKII and you hate AXMC as per our previous discussions.

Please, show me exactly where I stated that I hate AXMCs. I've only said, and I stick to that opinion, that it's an entry-level low-performance AX weaponry made to narrow the gap of AX entry requirements, and give players a taste of AX combat without demanding as much skill as Guardian weapons require.
