Episparh@Sakashiro, just one tip. When the hull of the target drops bellow 20-25% it usually high wake. You do not fail the mission but you will need to re-enter the instance to find a fresh 100% healthy target.

You will need strong dps against hull and sub-targeting of FSD to prevent that.

Your huge hardpoint dps potential is almost equal to the rest. You can use both types of weapons by managing your capacitator or/and having different fire group setup. The less hungry and managing approach is to use frags or MC and balancing their dmg vs hull and shield, but then it requires ammo.

Good to know! I guess this is the perfect opportunity to diversify away from the all-lasers setup. I love the wing mission challenge. HazRES became a bit too easy with the Mamba.

Try Plasma (class 4). When just switched from easy beam laser, I was like "eeew, how do I hit anyone with it" but now I'm absolutely loving it. Good placed shots are just eviscerating 'em, especially if you go for power plant or drive. Sweet exp.effects from engineers too!

Sakashiro have Mamba, Meowers - FDL. While both ships look as clones, I am not convinced PA will work with Mamba.

Totally worth the learning curve, maybe you'll like it too, best of luck with it!

Smaller foes: try to smack 'em in the face when they do their chaff&joust tactics, also you may catch them losing speed on sharp turns - that's the moment;
Medium (same size): if you try staying on their six, you may eventually dismantle their engines;
Big ones: stick to their broad side and go for power plant, or same strategy as for medium opponents.

Yet if you miss the module, you still probably make decent damage hitting the hull. You can try frags with drag munitions too, to make your aiming easier. anyway, practice makes perfect. I'm still on this, though :p

Developing a "scapegoat dirty ops squad" to do what you cannot do keeping your front clean, then consolidating people who grew patriotic against "common enemy" to gain more influence. That's so superpowerish. :p
