Yeah, a small terrorist cell that want the Empire beheaded decided to do a coordinated attack on all major powers friend and rivals of their target. That makes a lot of sense.... Someone in Frontier went way too off with exaggeration of those new vilains... I cannot buy this story anymore.

Yeah, a small terrorist cell that want the Empire beheaded decided to do a coordinated attack on all major powers friend and rivals of their target. That makes a lot of sense.... Someone in Frontier went way too off with exaggeration of those new vilains... I cannot buy this story anymore.

On the contrary, real world terrorists usually have an agenda that is clearly communicated. In the 21st century they even run their own websites.
The NMLA however doesn't seem to have any political goals whatsoever. No one knows what they want. The NMLA is probably just FDev's excuse to put burning stations into the game without expanding the thargoid threat narrative.

According to GALNET they were signing the Sirius Treaty for a more coordinated cooperation against thargoid; Archon Delaine too agree to sign the treaty.
I wonder if, with a different result of the meeting, no one of these attacks ever happend.

Federation and Empire were not willing to sign it just yet, Delaine willing to sign it has put pressure on them to sign besides their reservations, but they haven't so far.

I was just suggesting that "someone" was "lurking" during the meeting, and, depending the decision about the treaty, tooked the decision about this attack
