Thanatos au GrimmusTrying to decide which Power Play module to go for next:  the Pacifier Frag Cannon or the Imperial Hammer (I have the Prismatics and Pack Hounds already).  Any thoughts and advice would be appreciated.

I love the pair of Pacifiers on my Mamba, combined with 2 small Multis and a huge Beam laser! Once you get close to a big boy ALL shrapnels hit, and HARD.

That sounds enticing!

What's your opinion of the Pack hounds? I'll get the Prismatics at some point but I'm a bit low on cash right now, these things are expensive

TBH, I haven't used them much, but one time I put 5 on a Fed Gunship and had a "blast" blowing up some NPC pirates. They pack a punch and are visually amazing.

My opinion on PP modules :
Prismatics (get as much as you can in all sizes)
Pack-hounds - a devastating version of seeker missiles. (10-15 should be enough for some niche or meme builds)
Pacifiers - oh god I love those unfortunately too few ship can utilize them fully. (10 should be enough. I use only two on a Vulture)
Imperial Hammer - well, I know they are popular but I really prefer normal rails (10 should be enough)
Grom bomb - this is a must have just because of the effect even if you do not care for PvP (1-10 should be enough. If you plan to do PvP get more)
Would not bother with the rest.

Ordered them as of how I would acquire them now.

OK, thank you, the choice is clear (given that I already have the first two items) after hearing from you and Rufus.  Zachary Hudson, I pledge the next 4 weeks to you and your lovely Pacifiers!

Burstar
Tarin
Burstar210k+ in commodities is like 40 two-way trips every day for the week. Say 8 minutes for 2 jumps, in system and docking travel time that's over 5 hours each day.

A billion+ in bounties takes over a thousand kills. Even killing one every minute is like 3 hours every day for the week (and that is an impossible pace considering respawn rates, need for resupply and Braben tunnels etc...)

Wing = x4 !!!
1,300,000,000 / 4 = 325,000,000 kr
for the first day, I managed to get 200,000,000 cr
p.s. solo

Not for Pirate Bounties it isn't. Everyone in the wing gets the same credits with no multiplier. You theoretically could be killing 4x faster if the actual kill rate was the only limiting factor (it isn't) but even in a wing you still need the same number of kills to get to the top ten so your math is wrong.

And I didn't say 200million was impossible, just insane. Also, 200 million in a day is great and all. Now do that 5 days in a row the whole while not knowing if it will be enough...

Wingman Shared Bounties
When attacking wanted vessels, every wingman that takes part in the fight, landing some hits on target,
will no longer receive an equal "share", or equal split, of the bounty.
As of Update 2.3, every wing-man receives a copy of the full bounty,
as long as they are present when the vessel is destroyed.

https://elite-dangerous.fandom.com/wiki/Wings#Wingman_Shared_Bounties

If one of the wings takes 2-5 tons of gold, then you will not have a lack of attention.
Also - for the players' wing, the game generates an enemy several ranks higher than the "average" wing member.
Almost all Elite or Deadly!
Non-stop! it's fun, just have time KWS!

Ugh, I've decided to maaaaaybe grind for a Fleet Carrier so I can have my own mobile base to launch attacks on the Thargoids. I'm using my T9 with 788 cargo capacity, filling up with Argonomic Treatment in Gliese 3761 and unloading at Juipedi system for just over 19.5million profit at 2 small jumps.

Would Platinum mining be faster?

Don't forget Osmium, Tritium etc. May not have the value of Platinum, but prices are less volatile too.

Oh yeah, I always forget about Tritium

EpisparhDon't skip oh shield and hull even on resque ships and always 4 pips to SYS when entering on leaving station.
And keep your speed under 100m/s.

My rescue Vette have bi-weave shield on a size 7 slot and 6 skill boosters. Roughly raw 1600Mj and 800 hull ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

My rescue T-9 has no hull but an 8A shield generator and heatsink launchers in all utility slots, just in case I get stuck and need a few more than usual. But so far it has been smooth sailing. Knowing the shape of the ship and the position of the cockpit helps get it through tight spots. It's a straightforward build, no engineering necessary.

What I didn't know previously is that the heat buildup gets paused when inside the hangar. So you can really take your time filling those 136 seats, no need to hurry.

Yet it starts as soon as you begin the undocking procedure, with controls still disabled until the clamp release. So you can reach high heat level while riding their elevators (but there wouldn't be much damage in time so short).

Daiyousei7I just put them in the cargo bay. If anyone complains I open the cargo hatch and suddenly, no more complaints.

A sentence worthy of a Duval.

Yeah, take your time and sort them by who will be saved and who gets left behind to roast.
Or in other words who will give 3+ fed rep and who won't.
I don't mind a couple of days saving fat fed piggy lives if it gets me a corvette but non-feds and single rep passengers? Sorry, it's the fryer for you. I'd prefer my cabins non-smoking.
Oh, and watch out taking your time - they can still get pissed with you if you hang around in the hangar.

I'd like to point out abusing Imperial Slaves is (usually) a severe crime, given how important that institution is for the Empire and its citizens.

To be honest, Imperial Slavery is something a lot of citizens from IRL countries would go for, given at its very basis does seem to be different than 7-3 (or 9-5) jobs, although with way better benefits (free healthcare, food provision, good standards housing, etc.)
