tl;dr Krait mk2 - 4 gauss cannons separated in 2 fire groups to menage heat and the last one goes to remote release flack launcher - to deal with thorgon swarm.

Those swarms only come from Interceptors don't they?

they only come from interceptors. they are released every time you kill a heart, and are probably the most threatening part of the fight. although, you are fighting scouts, so you shouldnt need to worry about that.

Swarm can be close to harmless on lower variants if you use cold orbiting. I engage swarm on Cyclops only if I am bored while waiting for the shield to go down.... But then again this is explained in AXI wiki.

SapphoThis might present an opportunity to conduct an experiment - whether it is possible for other biological species, regardless of sex, to be impregnated with Thargoid 'baby juice' resulting in a cross-breed.

That was handy, I am looking for a little Thargoid action soon and was wondering where the main areas were now.

I will look at Merope areas as its only about one jump on the carrier...

If you click on the "galaxy" tab and then under the "thargoid war" tab, you can see that Asterope offers the most target-rich environment (for Thargoids) at the moment, but Merope certainly has them too.

It is certainly shaping up to be a case of laser rifles in the old ghost ship type of tale. I’d expect a teaser before alpha. What’s your money on? Walking thargs or dumb-ass humans in blue glowy suits?

Madi-Tenurr[Blue glowing suits. Seeing Thargoids would be awesome, but I dont expect it for a number of reasons. If they do include walking Thargoids at some point, I look forward to learning more about them. What kind of plant will we see them shooting us with I wonder...

Actually... this makes me wonder if we'll have any opportunity to talk to npcs directly. Probably not, but I'm always hopeful of more story content.

WarCat72I'm not complaining, or even whining. But what is that point of ganking? I'm a rated mostly harmless, which means I'm not a very worthwhile combat target. I'm not carrying anything of value, yet I get interdicted and smashed flat by a dude in a ORCA. I ask him why with direct messaging, and it's because he heard I was talking about his mom. OK, so he's a ganking twatwaffle. I give it a few minutes, and decided to lauch and clear out of the system, and as my FSD is powering up, he attacks me again. So when I respawn, after a second expensive rebuy, I switch to a Sidewinder and manage to sneak out of the system. I don't understand why I got targeted to begin with.
