Managing to get a carrier out there without even touching the map makes it seem like you've never actually ventured to there, only through there.

Hey! I'm a console refugee, they don't have advanced ranks over there! I probably would've reached V already if the exploration stats carried over.
Also, are you sure you're reading that scanned systems map right? The core is "barely explored" because the star density is so high that we've only catalogued a very small percent, just like how the edges are highly explored near the north edges despite them not having many POI's. You can change the map from logarithmic to linear and see that the core has slightly higher exploration as the rest of the galaxy.

Consider visiting Col 285 Sector UD-G b12-2 or Vocovii(1.82G 'fun' warning). Those two around Cocijo have had their (surface) ports turned back on.

I'm not just going to silently sit by while you drop an amazing resource like that the site you just linked for those two systems. Tell me more! Haha
The site looks similar to Inara's Thargoid war listening, but looks like it's dynamic and maybe updates live/often?

How would you recommend someone (me) use this site to help find systems and AXCZs to practice in often? (I've been feeling hopeless about finding good AX combat recently, if not on Thursday or Friday.)

It was created relatively early on to make tracking of progress and various going-ons around the different Titans easier, with more features and/or filters for differetn system features (spire sites, AXCZs, attacked/damaged/repairing ports, etc) added over time. Looking a bit more sparse now that there is only one Titan left (and a few stragglers around the Taranis remains), though.
