To own every of the 38 ships, every single one equipped with A rated thrusters and have flown a short "know what it feels like" tour around J.M.
Now... what to do for the next two days?
Are there still damaged stations that need help?
Are there stations that have imperial or federal factions so I can further improve my rank there? If not, is it worth for creds only to bring stuff or safe people (more than the 70-90 mil/h robigo does?)
If it is "to safe ppl" - what ship and loadout would you guys advise? I tend not to bring my robigo python ;-)
Don't worry if the answer imply that the stations are not worth it - i still have so many things to do, it will take months till I have a look at running by foot in Odessey (I just wait until bugs and mayor culprits are fixed anyways)
Have a good night all of you,
fly safe... or dangerous. o7

ThardemAre there still damaged stations that need help?
In Celaeno currently, doing evac runs. So it's 'yes'.

Awesome info! Thank you. :-)
I have been busy unlocking Guardian modules and refitting an Alliance Chieftain and Challenger into my 1st attempts at anti-xeno ships.
Have added a beam laser with thermal vent for purpose of cooling.
Also initially tried an armoured power plant, but rapidly ran out of power on the Chieftain once the Guardian Gauss cannons were added.
So have currently switched to an overcharged plant instead, (2nd engineering to be added).
Need to do some cargo runs with the Cutter to create a destruction fund, Zzz.
Then the fun begins!
Overcharging PP on AX ship is a big NO! And it is not needed... OK , I looked at your build - fuel scoop and guardian FSD booster should go - this ship is not for going to Colonia. If you do not have FC - you travel with other ship and transfer combat or AX ship. This is how it worked prior FCs.
I do not know why you people want to invent the wheel. Just use the builds from https://www.antixenoinitiative.com/wiki/ship-builds
It would be good if while there you read some of the stuff actually .

So, overcharging your PP might not be the best engineering for AX. He looked at your build and suggests that the fuel scoop and guardian FSD booster should go. They're usually only used for long distance travel. It's usually best to have dedicated ships for certain roles he says.
Checkout the builds at https://www.antixenoinitiative.com/wiki/ship-builds. There are some tried and true AXI builds there that get rid of the guess work in choosing a build that's right for you.
If you have some time, you should also study some of the information there as it's going to be pretty valuable for AX hunting. Good luck!

I left a Sidewinder in Colonia. I know the suicide warp works from Colonia back to the Bubble, but does it work in reverse? If I bought another Sidewinder (One other than my main one) and offed myself, can I do a Bubble to Colonia warp?
17 May 2021, 6:09am
Aleksander MajjamSo here's a question, CMDR Epi.
I left a Sidewinder in Colonia. I know the suicide warp works from Colonia back to the Bubble, but does it work in reverse? If I bought another Sidewinder (One other than my main one) and offed myself, can I do a Bubble to Colonia warp?
No. The loaned sidewinder spawns always in the career start system, AKA in the bubble.
This is the reason I keep one sidewinder on my FC and my best jumping ship elsewhere.
Example: If my FC is 10k ly away and I need to get back to the bubble. Then after I finish my business I can just use Relentless to get back on the FC.

It's been on my mind to purchase an FC. I could easily purchase one and all of the important modules for years, but I guess I'm waiting for Odyssey to release on consoles before I pull the trigger. I remember you hating them before you caved in and got one yourself. Thoughts on them now? Gamechanger? Or just a means to an end?

My opinion still standing - FC is ball and chain.
Pros:
Cargo storage. (Can be handy for mining or trading, especially when target is few million ls away from jumping point)
Ability to take up to 40 ships with you(I use that option mainly to travel between AX zones as they are relatively close for FC yet too far away for combat ship. My old approach was to keep one ship in each location but then Frontier added Coalsack and now even California)
Ability to visit some systems where ships cannot go or return.
Cons:
The maintenance and fuel resupply is not so expensive but it stacks.
Traveling with a FC is PITA. There is a software that performs macros while you sleep but it is still a work around - not available on consoles.
Fuel planning - if you want to travel a lot with FC you need to plan your tritium, else you may need to mine it on the way.
I think that sums up my opinion.

I feel like your cons don't even come CLOSE to those pros.

That depends on the point of view. If you decide to test yours, be sure to have at least 7bil CR before purchasing a FC.
The only actual benefit for me is cargo storage. With my large fleet I can deal with everything except that. Unfortunately, this feature is not very useful for me as I am not a miner nor a trader.

That was too chill for me, sorry. I prefer Epi's grumpy version.

Can I ask more about the macros ?
Can you tell your carrier to go to say Rackhams Peak and it will calculate and make the jumps without my input?
For the record I love my carrier, takes my fleet wherever I need to go along with whomever I am showing around and helping out at the time.

No, the software cannot calculate your route. It takes predefined routes which you can make with https://www.spansh.co.uk/fleet-carrier

This is true. Whenever I do get my FC, it'll be for long term exploration DEEP in the black. Just me, a mining ship and my AspX!
