aye, but it hardly compares to what the empire and feds are offering

If you ask me all three of the rewards are a joke. I will check how it goes and maybe participate in all (FOMO) or in none.
I need to analyze if I have any use of any ... but I am 90% sure that I do not.

EpisparhOne note. Type-6 is awesome basic hauler and it is good even as explorer... And it comes at 0cr.

But they are giving them away for easy. Top 75% in cargo delivering? Cake compared to the ridiculous BH effort it took to get Top Ten for the Clipper or FAS.

I agree, its good, you can save the couple million you'd have used to buy it yourself, or be introduced to a ship you weren't gonna try out. But most pilots wouldnt miss that money anyway, or have bought a bigger ship already, to get into that 75% bracket quicker.

Just saying, a low-tier cargo hauler/ mid-tier explorer doesn't really compare to uniquely (at least for a few months) double engineered modules.

Let me remind you that those unique x2 engineered modules are size 3 and I can assure you that they have very few practical uses if any.

I'm aware they're small modules, I'm considering an iCourier for them lol

Could you elaborate on that as I have few couriers and use size 3 armored PP without need of extra juice.
On the other hand the shield got me thinking for a second, but honestly 3A shield with thermal/kinetic ... this is PvE combat shield. A shields usually use reinforced or enhanced, low power mods ... while resistances mods are used with bi-weave.

Thanatos au GrimmusI may be passing on the alliance CG unless it ends up at an insane tier. The T-6, which I don't own, can be had for about 1M credits. That's about a minute of mining on the Epi-meter.

Bruh , I almost missed that.   Technically if you need just a million  I wouldn't bother with mining.  Jumping to a populated system with a terraformable planet will sort you out faster.

Haha, you noticed that. I was merely pointing out that the effort needed to earn a million credits to buy a T-6 is extremely minimal.

BurstarI agree with this.  Also, Saka when you're fighting multiple opponents and taking hits anyways how much are those pips to engines really helping you?  At a certain point dps'ing your opponents down ASAP actually prevents more damage than dancing around in front of the firing squad.  Food for thought.

The pips to engines helped me keep up with the FDL while evading a lot of its shots. When I boost towards a target there's a short timespan where my weapons are most effective. Two pips to weapons cover that timespan perfectly. If my distributor drains, it's because I open fire too early.

Also don’t discount the fine art of the ram. Throttle down, 4 pips to sys and he will come to you. When he’s about 500 Mtrs - boost at him and try for a glancing strike. As long as your shields are up you should deal him some pain. I was recently on an solo assassination mission and the target was a deadly Cobra. I was almost stationary and tagged him with a laser shot at about 2500 mtrs and he came at me full tilt, hit me square on the nose. He lost all his shields and 25% hull. A couple shots with the MC’s and it was mission complete. Total time probably 20 seconds. Give it a try.

Follow the fleet carriers (ED's version of "follow the money"). There are roughly a gazillion FCs parked in Duamta, where I was going anyway, but pretty funny.

Hey cmdrs, I need help with something. For a while now I have been using gimbals and they served me well, but now I want to try and learn to use fixed weapons so I decided to train to use fixed in a IEagle, since the IEagle is weak but agile so it should help me train evasive actions while using fixed, the thing is the IEagle has only one medium hardpoint so i cant do a full PA build on it to train (since i know PAs are the best fixed weapon). What should i do? Because getting rails to train is not good in PVE since they have no ammo, getting MCs and I have two juggle with two different weapons that have different shot speeds, and lasers will make my dmg fully termal so if i get to the hull i will be struggling to kill. What should i do?

I just did, and it turned out to be one of the cheesiest wing missions ever. Video upcoming, but here's a summary of what happened:

I dropped into the threat level 6 instance and found a wing of one FDL and three (!) Vultures. Instead of deploying hardpoints, I put four pips to SYS and started ramming the FDL. That'll be the most cringy part of the video, because it took me a while to figure out how. Anyway, after a few successful bumps, his shield was down, and mine was only a little pink on the third ring. Funny enough, ramming alone doesn't count as combat, so he and his wing mates still weren't aggro at me. Good start, I thought and deployed my hardpoints, but things turned even more weird from there. Before I fired my first shot, the FDL began charging its FSD. Remembering what Epi said, I opened fire and also subtargeted the FSD. The FDL responded by flying attack maneuvers, but without actually attacking! Its hardpoints remained retracted. The Vultures didn't seem to care. So I finished off the FDL and completed the mission without having a single shot fired at me.

Did I just break the game?

I had an assassination mission with 6 (or so, can't recall now) Viper/Cobra/Asp-class opponents with Anaconda as their leader, and they was... just floating around at 0 m/s. Of course they went red as I shot at Anaconda, anticipating some vicious battle, but it won't made them move. Like there was no pilots inside. Mission was "successful" though. I don't know what kind of catatonic stupor or accepting the futility of being that was.

I too have encountered similar massive glitches in the AI of this game.

No, it's one of the known bugs that have existed for as long as I can remember. If you initiate combat with an NPC after they have started up their FSD they forget to deploy their hardpoints but behave like they're finger gunning you. It's repeatable and won't affect anything on your end other than making the kill extremely easy.
