I played both bounty hunt CGs without a KWS. Now I'm wondering how much money I wasted this way...
Don't think about it too much, just use one the next time. I think about 10-15% of my total bounties came in from the KWS, but I needed the KWS for scarlet copse.

Interesting that you say that . . . When I do get my 5 billion saved up, I'm not sure I'm going to buy the FC. Not sure I want to deal with all those mandatory fees, tritium, etc. Have you enjoyed your FC?

And when you add the cost of the fuel... You better have a good use case for it because the maintenance do not look much but it is constant and will slow you a bit.

I used one, fast scan engineered. Bonus was between 10-15%, not really worth it imo. Even the fast scan became annoying in the end.

I use it in rare occasions. Example: I flied my resque vette without fuel scoop from Sol, to alliance space and then back to empire space instead of using my FC to carry me there.

Hm. Thanks. That's interesting. Looks like the upkeep isn't that much a smoking hole in the pocket. Maybe when "superpowers" finally refuse to grant me a docking, I'll move my stuff to that vagabond bucket of heaven, hitting ~7bil in a pair of months.
Anyway, there must be some way to use credits.

Well, FC main advantage is storage. Traveling is handy only if you need to carry a lot of ships on long distances(e.g. 5+ ships or squadron/expedition ships from bubble to Colonia) or some specialized ships close outside the bubble (e.g. AX combat ships from/to witch head, Pleyades, Coalsack)
But in most of the cases in the bubble you can do whatever the task is faster with a specialized build.
P. S. FC can skip some time wasted in SC, given you can find a parking slot near your target (e.g. Hutton Orbital.)

Yes, the maintenance cost is not much. Jumping cost something if you buy the tritium... And I strongly suggest you do that because mining it is waste of time.
I think 7bil is the base given that you have a good set of specialized builds. It is kind of end-game asset. For the time when you already can make CR anyway and don't have much to spend them on stuff and grinded most of the grind.

Did a few hauls in it but then switched back to the Type-9. But I'll definitely keep the Python, it's very versatile and surprisingly nimble. Will put one of those new FSDs into it.
much more mobile than I expected... even with 7e thrusters....

Yes, you can transfer them to a nearest station/FC with shipyard. If you choose to not do it, they will be safe and accessible once station damage is contained and it enters repair state.
